I stayed here for 7 nights and chose Bed and Breakfast option as I prefer eating in different restaurants every night when on holiday and chose a standard ‘double room’ which was spacious, clean, lovely balcony and had very comfy beds. However we would choose all inclusive next time as it would be so worth it seeing how good the food and drinks were. The trip was so amazing from the moment we walked into the hotel, the check in staff were so friendly and welcoming and very informative...
We had to wait for two hours before being able to check in to our room as we arrived early morning, this wasn’t a problem as we were able to store our luggage, get changed and sit by the pool bar area. Pedro - who works on the door carried our luggage to our room and told us where everything was, and later on booked taxis for us whenever we asked, very helpful and friendly man! The hotel is simply stunning, with two pools, and one for ambiance in the Lava bar, water features, water aerobics, plenty of sun loungers, three beautiful restaurants and so many seating / bar / lounge areas. The cleaning staff were all very friendly and did a great job every day changing bedding and giving us fresh towels daily. We didn’t upgrade to the VIP access area as we didn’t feel the need to, we had everything we wanted and more! The night time entertainment was beautiful set in the ‘Lava bar’ the sunset was stunning seen from the ‘Sunset bar’ the drinks and food were just as stunning. Thank you to every single staff member for making our holiday so enjoyable and memorable. We will absolutely be returning next year. * to add - I’ve stayed in a few 5* ‘W’ hotels around the world and this absolutely compares. 10/10.
We stayed for 9 nights at the Jardin Tropical and loved it. Aesthetically, the hotel is gorgeous. We booked a club junior suite with sea view and it was spectacular...
a huge room with a big wardrobe and bathroom. The highlight was the balcony, it was massive. We had a sofa, table and two chairs and two sun loungers. If you are looking to tan it got absolutely pelted with sun in the afternoon. The bed was huge and super comfortable and the toiletries provided were great quality.
We had booked for bed and breakfast and the food was excellent. We had access to the club but preferred the laguna market breakfast as it had more choice. Particularly loved the fresh crepes and waffles. The assortment of foods available was excellent.
The club upgrade was very nice. We visited the lounge very afternoon/evening about 5 of the days we stayed and it was very good. As much cava, rose, red wine, beer and even spirits with or without mixer as you could want. The 'tapas' are mostly little sandwiches or pintxos served on pieces of bread - but all very nice and a good range of different ones. We didn't have dinner in the hotel but we had drinks a few times and they were great. Enjoyed cocktails during the day from the sunset bar a few times and then also an evening tipple in lava lounge as well - all great service.
My main complaint is around the pool area and the private club bali beds. The pool is gorgeous and great for a swim - perfect temperature. The loungers do get taken up fast, apparently the staff remove towels if they remained not occupied after 11 am but personally I didn't notice this. The bali beds were a joke to be honest. People would claim those at 8am and sometimes not show up til after midday. Some went totally unoccupied or were lay on for only parts of the day. There needs to be strict policy around this as some people literally never got access. I heard a lady accuse of man of moving her towels even though she had come down earlier at 8.30am to claim them - this was now at 1pm in the day!
The location of the hotel is, in my opinion, excellent. Short enjoyable walks along the sea (20 mins or so) to Fanabe in one direction and PDLA the other - there are lovely places to eat and drink all along these paths.
All that withstanding, I would absolutely stay again. The hotel is gorgeous and the rooms are amazing.
Thats really embarissing to see a very dirty shower!!
I could not take shower and I called the reception 4 times and each time says we will send you somebody but nobody came!
They did not even offer me another room!
The smell in the room is not healthy and smell like toilet!
The reception service was unprofessional and not kind.
The wellness staff was stressed and almost fight with each others.
The beds in the room are moving while I move and it has a noisy sound!
The pictures show how dirty the shower was.
Just back from a week at Jardin Tropical. Its a lovely hotel, in a fairly decent location, in terms of access to restaurants and bars, and very close to 2 beaches.
Firstly, we found the hotel to be very clean, plenty of sanitising stations and a temperature check at reception. We were really impressed and felt safe and clean at all times.
We stayed B+B, the room is a decent size, lovely bathroom, and plenty of starage space...
Our double bed was 2 singles pushed together. My wife slept fine, but I wasn't overly comfortable. The rooms are serviced and cleaned daily, and while clean, I found the bedding and pillows weren't overly comfortable. The room is perhaps lacking in useful additions, no kettle, no tissues, no bin in the main part of the bedroom, only little things, but things you kind of miss a little. The room does have a fridge and a hairdryer.
The hotel has 2 main pools, we mostly stayed around the main pool, which is a normal pool. There is a bar, and they also do bar snacks, which were very good. There's also the sunset bar, which has amazing views over the sea, and looking along the coasts. We enjoyed a few Tiki cocktails, watching the sunset.
There are plenty of restaurants to choose from, though we never ate, other than during the day at the pool bar.
Breakfast was amazing, so much choice and served from 7-11. A huge buffet, with options for full english, fruit, yoghurts, toasties, breads, pancakes, pastries, omelettes, as well as hot and cold drinks.
Overall, we had a great week. I'd recommended this hotel as perfect for couples, there wasn't many kids at the hotel, and to be honest, we didn't notice much for kids to do. Its a lovely walk round to the main Costa Adeje strip, with the main bars and restaurants to frequent in the evening.
2nd time staying here at this lovely hotel and will definitely come back again. Two great pools with fantastic views overlooking the Atlantic ocean. The breakfast buffet was really good quality with a widw range of choices.La pinta beach was only a 5 min walk away with Torviscas and Fanabe beach 10-15.
