Gets better and better 🌟

Visited this place several times over 20 years and it just gets better and better. Go for more than just a box of a hotel, plenty of areas to get away and enjoy peace and quiet, really lovely staff (every single one), the Preferred Club which was well worth the extra with its Bali beds and terrace overlooking the sea and a great location.

Excellent hotel

Review by 847sasam Zurich, Switzerland

Excellent hotel, very nice location, super relaxed atmosphere. Stuff at the reception could be more polite. For some reason we didn’t get welcome prosecco...

La Tratoria was excellent but the other two restaurants were not good, one messed our order the other burned the meat. All in all I would go again but I wouldn’t visit their restaurants.

Beautiful hotel

Review by Davide-Raph Derbyshire, United Kingdom

Lovely hotel, great selection of food at breakfast. Pool is big and lots of palm trees everywhere gives an exotic feel. The whole hotel has a Moroccan style villa feel about it in fact...

One of the highlights is the beautiful bar where you can enjoy amazing cocktails and watch the sunset. Also, the seafood restaurant Las Rocas which is part of the hotel is right on the waterfront and the food was amazing. Staff were very helpful. Good location as well, very close to the harbour and beaches. Would absolutely recommend this hotel.

Amazing staff, food

The staff in a hotel can make all the difference to a holiday experience and that was certainly the case with our trip. From the moment we checked in until the moment we left, they could not have been more helpful. The food in the main restaurant is exceptionally good with lots of variety and choice...

We had tried to eat in the restaurants that needed to be booked in advance, and with no availability decided to eat in the numerous restaurants outside the resort instead. We did eat in the Barefoot Grill and the food was again amazing although trying to get served was not easy, which meant we opted to get the children takeaway food from outside as this was quicker. Overall the resort is lovely and I can see why it would get a four and a half rating from Jet2. It’s definitely better than four star and also some five star hotels that we’ve stayed in. However, the hotel is quite tired in a lot of areas, which is why it probably hasn’t got a five star rating. We had some issues with the showers in both rooms and with the loos, which you don’t need on holiday. The particular rooms we’d been allocated were pretty big, although had a 2m metal fence some eight feet from the terrace which made it felt prison like. The maid service was not that great, seemed infrequent.
The area has enough going on, so we will go back to the same town later in the year although we have booked to go to a five star hotel along the strip. Our overall feeling was that this is a nice resort hotel with amazing staff and great food in need of a little TLC.

Relaxing holiday with friends

Review by SHARON K St. Helier, United Kingdom

Lovely hotel and fantastic views from the Sunset Bar. Great choice of food at the buffet for breakfast and supper and the Barefoot Grill is perfect for lunch by the pool. Amazing staff, nothing was too much trouble - especially Candy on reception...

Looking forward to visiting again in May.
