Surrounded by 12, 000 m2 of beautifully lands this adults only hotel (+16) boasts breathtaking views over the Atlantic Ocean and the exclusive holiday resort of Costa Adeje. The luxurious nearby shopping centre is just 200 m away, while the exclusive Playa del Duque beach is at 1 km. The buffet restaurant serves international and Mediterranean food; there is a snack bar next to the pool and two a la carte restaurants specialized in Italian and Nikkei cuisine while the lobby bar enjoys stunning, panoramic views. For added convenience, there is a shuttle service to Playa del Duque beach.
Dip into one of the 2 outdoor swimming pools or enjoy other recreational amenities, which include a 24-hour fitness centre. Additional amenities at this hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access, gift shops/newsstands and lifeguards on-site. The complimentary beach shuttle makes getting to the surf and sand a breeze.
Melia Jardines del Teide Hotel - Adults Only - 5* Hotel - I don't think so - barely 4*!!
On arrival there was no porter to help us with our luggage into the Reception Area, and nobody to welcome us!!! Arriving at Reception, we were told no food was available, hurriedly allocated our room without any introductory letter explaining the facilities of the hotel. Any bottled water in the rooms would be charged - never been charged at any previous 5* Hotel!!! Halfway through our stay (27th September) the main pool was closed off to be re-painted - no prior information given to us - we only found out from the staff removing the sunbeds - it's not due to be finished until 7th October, as far as I know. No change in bed linen until the 12th day. The hotel was generally clean and tidy. The one real saving grace for the hotel was the staff, who in the main were polite, friendly and extremely helpful. Sadly we will not be returning to this hotel and are unlikely to use Melia Hotels again, it was a shame that no one at the hotel seem prepared to speak to us about the problems in the hotel. It was fortunate that the weather was generally sunny and warm.
We had such a great stay at Meliá Jardines del Teide and honestly couldn’t fault it!
The room was really big, clean and tidy, which was great. All the staff were really friendly and always happy to help whenever we needed anything.
The pool area was brilliant and the bar was great too — definitely spent a fair bit of time there! The food was really good as well, with plenty of choice.
The entertainment on an evening was amazing too! With different things each night.
We went all inclusive and I’d definitely recommend doing the same. It just made everything so much easier and meant we could properly relax and enjoy the holiday.
The location of the hotel is about a 10 minute walk to where the main strip of restaurants and things are if you feel like going elsewhere.
Overall, we had a brilliant time and would 100% stay here again. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re heading to Tenerife! ☀️🌴🍹
The hotel is beautiful fabulous seaviews. The food staff and cleanliness is top notch. We had a junior suite with Seaview. This hotel is set into the hill side and we were on floor 6. This involved taking 3 lifts to get to the pool. This hotel has lots of steps and is not suitable if you have even slight mobility issues. There is a gate on floor -1 which takes you onto the roadway. It is 20 mins walk to playa del que. And about a half hour to fanabe strip. Again a lot of steps are involved. The main pool area is disgraceful. The black marks and mould are horrific the sunbeds are soaked and marked with goodness knows what. Sadly this let's the hotel down.
Myself and my wife were here for 6 nights mid September. We booked 'The Level' and got an room upgrade at check in, which was good. Turns out it had its own terrace. We have stayed in the Melia in Torremolinos a couple of times so we kinda knew what to expect. Staff were outstanding, thankyou. 'The Level' pool scene, was not the best due to all the hotel rooms looking down on you. The Torremolinos one is on the rooftop. A lot of steps in the hotel and the hotel was up a large hill, which we knew prior to going. Unfortunately my wife injured her ankle one night on the pavement walking back up from the Dukes Shopping Centre with kinda hindered her mobility. The hotel staff were very good asking if we needed anything. The 'free bar' from 4pm -6pm was very good with snaks etc also. Wine/prosecco and a cocktail of the day were readily available all day in the level. Overall, very good, but would most likely try another hotel in Adeje the next time.
This is our second stay at Melia Jardines Del Teide Tenerife, a fantastic adults only hotel in a beautiful location. On arrival we were welcomed by concierge with a warm hand towel and drink and checked in immediately by Alice on reception. We stayed in a lovely Level Junior suite room with sea view. It had a lovely balcony with sun loungers. Each day we were welcomed in to the main dining room by Hawa, Sonia and Elizabeth and many others. 🥰The food and drink was fantastic. The main bar we were served by Hector, Jose and Angel to name a few, everyone was amazing 👏. We twice had a meal at the Italian restaurant Casa Nostra and it was fantastic 😋. There was amazing entertainment each evening and lovely choice of workshops to do every day. Such as candle making and painting. I was introduced to them by Yaiza who also did the pool aerobics everyday. 😍 We thank everyone 🙏 at the hotel for a fantastic holiday and look forward to seeing you all again next year Jennie and John
