Great staff/food

Review by Kathleen S Greater London, United Kingdom

Honestly you can’t really fault this place, yes a bit dated and rough rind the edges but what a holiday, We were there for 5 days and the staff are amazing, Laureen & Diego keep you going the whole day, always something to do, Food was plentiful, started to get a bit Samey after day 3 but loads of local places to go as well. I would definitely go back 100%

A great relaxing holiday

Review by Darren R Skegness, United Kingdom

Just come back from a 10 nights all inclusive holiday with my wife, and what a wonderful time we had, I must admit on first site I thought the complex looked a bit tired, nothing that a lick of paint couldn't put right though, and it was a bit special to see the parrots flying around, the staff at the complex from the cleaning team, reception, catering, entertainment and bar were all brilliant, very friendly, very helpful and committed to their jobs always smiling, a special mention goes to Iona from the bar a top man very friendly and professional, Diego and Laurie who did the entertainment were brilliant, I don't know where Diego gets his energy but he never stopped, he was brilliant with kids and adults alike a great member of the hotels team The hotel itself was OK, it was clean and cosy just somewhere to put our heads tbh, sadly no aircon though, but we were all inclusive anyway so we made do, the food was a plenty from morning to night in a large dining area, with plenty of choice for everyone to eat and enjoy. The entertainment was excellent every day, starting around 10.30ish for the kids big and little alike, from archery, darts, shooting, boules, water polo, yoga to name but a few and evenings varied with good old karaoke but for people of all languages not just the Brits, flamenco dancers, and a live singer who just happened to be the sister of the world famous footballer Naymar, she seriously can sing, I'd say as good as he plays football So to wrap up, a great place for families or couples of all ages, either relax with a g n t by the pool or get involved in some of Diegos crazy antics I don't think you'll be disappointed.

A lovely stay completely ruined on the final day

Review by Cleopatrick Cardiff, United Kingdom

We arrived at around 11pm and were checked in quickly by a friendly lady at the reception desk, we headed to the bar and bought a few drinks as we'd missed the all inclusive which finished at 10.30pm. The room was very spacious and clean, the shower was lovely and powerful, we were 3 adults in one room but there were only 2 chairs on the balcony... An extra would have been nice...

We had a great stay overall, the food was lovely, always seemed to be a selection of different meats, canarian potatoes and mojo and plenty of salads and vegetables. The stay was ruined for me by an encounter with a blonde lady staff member in the restaurant on our final day, as our all inclusive bands were cut off we were given a voucher from reception for lunch and dinner for the 3 of us, being a group of 3 adults we tended to do our own thing and eat at different times on occasion. The ticket was taken off the member of the group who first went for lunch, she explained there were more of us and it was also for dinner and this was acknowledged by the blonde staff member repeatedly, however when I arrived for lunch I was told firstly that the restaurant was closing in 8 minutes.. I only wanted a drink and a quick snack so that was fine, I was then told I couldn't as I had no band, I explained the situation and was rudely told to hurry up, I put a small amount of food on a plate and after one bite was again approached and completely embarrassed in front of all the other guests and told to leave, she refused to even let me sip the lemonade I had as I 'needed to buy from the bar', she then told me I needed to go to reception and pay 11 euros for the bite of potato I'd managed, she then spoke about me to a man in the restaurant and I felt completely embarrassed as everyone was looking and shaking their heads at me. I went to reception incredibly upset and visibly crying, the reception lady called the restaurant on the phone to explain I was allowed to eat and told me to go back (at this point I was so upset I never wanted to set foot in there again) the blonde lady saw me on my balcony later and shouted 'you can come in now' but after her rudeness I wished not to and instead ate out for both meals. It would be helpful for 3 tickets to be issued when 3 bands are returned to avoid this happening in the future? And maybe in future prior to embarrassing a guest a quick phone call to reception from the restaurant would have solved this? I would have rated top marks had it not been for this one person ruining my stay here. All the other staff members were polite, efficient and friendly and a credit to the hotel.

Lovely hotel.

Had a brilliant week break here. The hotel is spotless, apartments are very clean, food nice and there are options if you are a picky eater, cleaners in daily. I will be back next year for sure, the only little thing that I didn't like was that drinks was served in paper cups...

Not a big deal and you can't have everything you want but it made them taste different. Staff very welcoming and approachable, they deserve maximum credit for the long hours they do and do brilliantly too. Once again thank you for the relaxing week we had.

Good Hotel

Review by Mandyglen1 Bathgate, United Kingdom

Just back after 6 days here. Quick check in. Rooms are like chalet style...

Ours was very dated but spotless.had a fan in the room and a kitchenette. Food was good. Always something to choose from. Drinks are good. Bar shuts 10 30pm. Adonnai and Jose were lovely and friendly. Only downside is outside the hotel is like a ghost town. Nearest shop is a good 10 min walk. Not ideal if you have mobility issues. We went to Las americas on our last day. Taxi cost about 20ish euros each way but there is also a bus for 2 euro. Also I received a bottle of bubbly in my room on my birthday which was lovely 😍
