It offers a wide culinary variety through its various restaurant and buffets. This is the perfect hotel to enjoy a magic vacation. All Modern suites feature limited free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and minibars, plus sofabeds, tea and coffeemaking facilities, and terraces or balconies; some offer ocean views and/or direct access to a shared pool. Family suites add living rooms. Room service is available. Other amenities include 5 restaurants, 6 bars and 3 outdoor pools, plus a kids' water park, a splash pad and 2 playgrounds. Friendly, chilled out, magical vibes
A beautiful hotel. The room was so big and we had a stunning view from the balcony with mountains to the left and the sea to the right. The staff were very friendly and helpful, there was a few things I needed help with and reception staff were happy to help. The pool area with the castle, the enchanted tree and the sea in the distance is just stunning. We had read on another review to bring your own cups for drinks round the pool and I’m really glad I did as I didn’t like the little plastic cups provided but that is just personal to me. I saw other guess with those beakers that keep drinks cool and I thought that was a really good idea. I thought the drink choice was good. We loved the chilled out vibes but also loved that there was so much to do if you wished. The food was ok, I’m not sure how they can prevent it but there was always flys around the fruit and flying around you as you ate and that really put me off. For myself I felt there was plenty of choice of food but for 2 of my daughters who are fussy eaters there wasn’t enough “beige” food, just some plain pasta and chicken nuggets would have made it perfect for them, but again that’s only a negative if you have fussy eaters. We ate at to of the restaurants and they had the choice of chicken nuggets there which was good for my fussy eaters and the restaurants of us enjoyed the food. I agree with other reviews that the food is not 5 star but it was still good. They even had none dairy and gluten free options which I thought was good. Around the pool can get slippery, again we saw this on other reviews so we brought pool shoes which were a god send. We saw a few people slip while we were there so would definitely recommend pool shoes or flip flops to wear around the pool. The 2 shows we watched were really good, and in the evening the lobby bar always had live music and the sports bar had karaoke, bingo or quizzes. We had a great time and loved the magical, chilled out feel of the hotel. The only reason we would not go back is because we need a buffet that caters to all our family, but that’s only because we have fussy eaters.
Great holiday for families
The hotel and its facilities are fantastic. It is modern, clean and really inviting.
The food here was fantastic. The buffet resteraunt had a great variety of food that differed everyday and was hot and tasty. We went to three of the restaurants, but our favourite by far was the grill. The food was sensational.
There were no issues with sunbeds and we could always fine space around the pool. This included when we went out for the day and come back early afternoon.
The shows were spectacular. The lighting, dancing and gymnastic performance was amazing to watch. Unfortunately, this isn’t quite the entertainment that I enjoy but I could certainly appreciate the word and skill that went into producing them.
The gym is very well equipped and it is generally empty so you can help yourself.
The app is helpful and you can WhatsApp the hotel to get additional things in your room like extra coffee or certain drinks stocked in the mini bar.
The only complaint I would have about the hotel is the reception staff. They were aloof and didn’t really want to help. This is with the exception of James who was the most helpful person I encountered at the hotel and went above and beyond.
The hotel is great for a family holiday. We wanted to be far enough away so that we could relax but could always get a taxi into Las Americas.

Disapoing
This hotel is probably a great choice for smaller groups, but unfortunately, our experience was very different. We were a group of 20, including both children and adults, and the service at the restaurants was extremely disappointing.
Even though we booked tables several days in advance, they never seemed prepared to accommodate us so that we could sit together. We had also prepaid for all meals and drinks, so the hotel knew well in advance that they were expecting a large group. Despite this, every meal became an unnecessary hassle.
The staff were often unfriendly and unwilling to help, even with something as simple as moving tables around so our group could sit together. Instead of trying to find solutions, we often felt like our group was an inconvenience to them.
The hotel itself was clean and well maintained, which we appreciated.
The lobby bar, however, was a completely different experience. The staff there were fantastic—friendly, helpful, and provided excellent service.
Unfortunately, the attitude and service from the staff managing the restaurants were far below what you would expect from a hotel, especially considering that everything had been booked and paid for in advance. There is definitely significant room for improvement.
Fun family resort
This is our second visit, the first being 7 years ago when the hotel first opened. Magical place for younger children with entertainment day and night. Lots of pools to choose from including kids pool for younger guests, adult only infinity pool, water slides and several large open pools. Temperatures vary and our favourite was the smallest. Staff were attentive and friendly. Fun and relaxed atmosphere. Food is of a good standard with the buffet restaurant offering kids area as well as fresh fish and meat dishes for adults. Kids love choosing g their own meals and the ice. Cream or chocolate fountain stations. The deserts were delicious. Entertainment in the evenings was okay but the shows weren’t as good as when we went in 2019. Live music was nice and lots of fun for the children. Generally quiet by 10.30 which isnt surprising with young families. Local area surrounding hotel is quiet with a couple of shops and restaurants. We headed to The Wildgeese Irish bar one night. Overall relaxing and fun holiday perfect for what we wanted.
