We spent a week at the Vincci Tenerife Golf Hotel having travelled with Jet2 Holidays. Superb experience starting with the short taxi ride from the airport. We managed to get a family room which was amazing with 2 bedrooms (one for each of us in case we fell out), a lounge and a balcony with a fantastic view over to Los Abrigos. There is a new walk way to the town being completed which makes it so much easier to get to...
Super location with lots of good bars & restaurants in walking distance. Pity our holiday was disrupted by COVID19 but the hotel looked after us well.
This place is in need of some cleaning. The general feeling for us is that it's a solid 3 star hotel that somehow got listed as 4 stars.
And they're light beds that dont take much to move then apart and leave a gaping hole for you to fall down.
Saving graces: some area of the pool are sheltered from the strong wind so if you're lucky enough to get one of those loungers you'll keep your hat.
The staff, while you hardly see them, when you can find someone, they are very few around.
The entrance area and lobby are stunning without a doubt.
Overall the design of the place looks like a tired old cruise ship. Which is a shame because it could be nice if they gave it some love and attention.
I think for the money there are far nicer hotels which are true 4 stars.
Booked this hotel 10 days prior to departure as we needed to get away from the horrendous UK weather, Having stayed in the Vincci sister hotel in Marbella we expected pretty much the same and we were not disappointed. This hotel has everything to offer, a beautiful location not 30 mins from the airport. We stayed for 1 week and although we did experience the sandstorm halfway through our holiday, i did not ruin the vacation...
The staff were excellent, the food was outstanding, the rooms were good (we had a sea view) and although the hotel does need a slight cosmetic touch, I would thoroughly recommend this holiday to family and friends. Both my wife and I have decided that this will not be the last time to stay at this hotel and look forward to many more holidays their over the coming months and years.
Staff were excellent particularly Yanina entertainment staff she was very friendly and welcoming kitchen staff and service good too Pool good Food themed nights which was also good Freshly cooked Thank you for lovely holiday
Visited the Hotel for 7 days with three other friends . First impressions of the hotel were great lovely entrance hall and foyer. Lovely receptionist and very efficient check-in...
No bell boys to help with luggage though. It was for ok for our party but as it caters for the more mature customers I can imagine this could be a problem. As the lift is a few steps up from reception area. There is no coffee/tea making facilities in any of the rooms. We were on the 7th floor had amazing views over the Atlantic. Food very commendable. All inclusive drink package quite poor no brand spirits unless you pay extra. Rooms especially the bathrooms drastically need up dating. We were in a junior suite lovely apart for bathroom.
