Nice location and hotel for a quiet break

Review by Expl0rer1234 Bristol, United Kingdom

Great location, friendly staff and very good service. We had a family room overlooking the pool and Ocean which was excellent. Bus services to Los Cristianos are frequent and not costly at all, so onward travel to other parts of the Island by public transport are possible without too much trouble...

Breakfast was good also with a nice variety. Recommended as a good family hotel in the Golf Del Sur.

Great location, friendly staff, good breakfast

Review by Janette B Norwich, United Kingdom

Just back from this lovely hotel, great location, short walk to Los Abigos or the Marina via the newly built walkway. We had a sea facing room, which was lovely, comfy beds, and good shower pressure - all pre-requisites for a stay for me! Pool area was lovely, free towels, plenty of sunbeds, we sunbathed on the upper deck which was quieter. Free safe in room accessed via a credit card, room service daily and towels were replaced each day...

Evening entertainment, which was relaxed and suited to an older audience, just chilled place. There were some double sun loungers for couples of families, but these quickly got snapped up. There is an amazing massage therapist there - Lourdes I think - best massage I've had in a long time. Small but adequate gym and small spa area, which could be booked for 12 euros per person, but you got it to yourself. for an hour, which is a nice touch - personally didn't use it. We stayed B&B, breakfast was really good, lots of choice, couldn't fault it, can't comment on lunch/dinner as we ate out most nights. We left early and staff packed us an amazing picnic, which was a nice touch. Across the road, there is a good selection of pubs and restaurants, the Tapas restaurant is amazing and the small Irish bar directly opposite the hotel was very welcoming too. Can't fault it, ok maybe a little dated in places, but nothing major - would come back again- best for couples and older families in my opinion.

Lovely quiet hotel

Review by 55WillI Portishead, United Kingdom

This is a lovely small quiet hotel. Our room (junior suite) looked out directly over the sea and sitting on the balcony was amazing. The food and drink was good with plenty of choice for vegetarians...

The chef cooked pasta for my daughter one evening when she didn't know what to have. The bar was quiet in the evenings with occasional singers providing entertainment. The pool entertainment from Yanira was puzzle games and no pressure to participate if you didn't want to. We thought it was perfectly judged and she was lovely with the children. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and would come back.

Dated hotel with disgusting sun lounger pads

Beautiful location in a dated hotel. We stayed here for a week in April Our room had a lovely sea view but the room was tatty and dated, cracked door frames and rusting bath fittings however the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. The breakfast was ok with a good choice but the coffee selection was poor. The hotel bar was small and didn’t really cater for BB customers if you just wanted a snack. Pool area had plenty of sun loungers with complimentary clean fresh towels but the pads to go on the loungers were absolutely disgusting, they were greasy and thread bare with holes in most of them, they all need to be replaced Outside the hotel is a small shopping centre with a selection of pubs and restaurants...

Would highly recommend Hatties for a lovely freshly made lunch. The costal path is beautiful and you can walk either way, the village of los Abrigos is well worth a visit with plenty of fresh seafood restaurants.

Very Disappointed on our last day to be just offered the spa shower facilities as we were told the hotel was fully book so we couldn’t keep our room. Our flight wasn’t until late in the night but we had to check out by 12 am which is just so inconvenient as we wanted to enjoy our last day. After pay 100 euros are room became available. I understand when you’re leaving they just want the room back but on the day of our arrival we paid for our room and never actually got in it until 10pm in the night

All in all we wouldn’t recommend this hotel or stay here again. This is no reflection on the staff but the hotel is just dated and please please replace those disgusting lounger pads ASAP

Good hotel for quiet retreat only

My 13 year old daughter and I stayed here for a week in April. Quiet location with a few restaurants nearby. Twin superior Room was great with amazing sea view...

Had welcome massage at Hotel spa which was well worth the 29 euros however the mini spa experience was poor and a waste of money. Hotel entertainment is minimal (occasional singers). Hotel pool and outdoor area is super clean and great. All inclusive food was average and sadly often cold. Hotel is let down by some grumpy bar staff with no interpersonal skills !
