The BEST TENERIFE is located in an area bursting with shops and restaurants that give it life both day and night. Of particular note are the panoramic views of the swimming pool. It's 380 rooms offer customers a functional and pleasant environment. The hotel entertainment staff offer activities day and night. Facilities include Air Conditioning.
Relax at the full-service spa, where you can enjoy massages, body treatments and facials. If you're looking for recreational opportunities, you'll find an outdoor pool, a sauna and a fitness centre. This hotel also features complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and an arcade/games room.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Been on so many all inclusive holidays over the last 25 years with my family, we seldom complain and usually are OK with the whole all inclusive package as most are similar, Hotel Best is probably the worst we have ever been to, mould everywhere from the rooms to the sun canopies, daughter went upstairs to change my grandson find some strange man leaving her room as she got there, thought it was maintenance but no, he had stolen money and searched through empty purses etc, went to management who downplayed everything, one night later my sister in laws door was opened and then quickly shut when he heard someone was in, again management reaction was dismissive and denial, will never return, 2 star at best and TUI need to be looking at dropping this midden from their catalogue of hotels, I could go further about the cold food and laughable eating choice but I won't bother, give this place a big miss.
Location is central to all amenities in Playa de las Americas. The overall feel of the hotel is relaxed and is a very nice place to stay. Food from the restaurant is lovely and varies from day to day. Pool area lovely too with a waterfall. We stayed in a family room which was a little dated but otherwise nice. Cleaned daily.
We stayed at Best Tenerife from 25 July to 1 August 2026 on an all-inclusive package booked through Loveholidays.
Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. Our initial room had mould around the air conditioning and ceiling, which we reported first thing in the morning. We were then made to wait until midday and had to view four different rooms before finding one we were willing to accept. We feel the first room should have been of an acceptable standard, and we lost a significant part of our first day dealing with this.
We also experienced poor shower pressure, fluctuating water temperature and peeling bathroom panelling. The food was very repetitive, and we ate dinner outside the hotel three times despite being all-inclusive.
There was also an uncomfortable incident where a member of staff knocked once and immediately entered our room without waiting for an answer.
We raised our concerns with the hotel and Loveholidays, but our complaint was ultimately rejected.
Everyone’s experience is different, but based on ours, we would not return to Best Tenerife.
From the moment we set foot in the Hotel Best Tenerife, we felt we were in a great place. The lobby area was clean and expansive but felt inviting. The reception staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, and all our questions were answered. We found out as the days went by, that we were in a prime spot, within easy access to the golden mile and beyond. Bars, restaurants and cafés were plentiful close by. And there was also a selection of gift shops to keep you occupied. Our room with a balcony ( overlooking the pool) was excellent, made even better by our wonderful maid ( room 130 ) She was extremely polite, very friendly and kept our room spotlessly clean. Probably the majority of people at this hotel were all inclusive. We opted for half board, with buffet style breakfasts and evening meals being excellent. ( including the restaurant staff ) There's also an a la Carte restaurant that you can dine in, but needs to be pre-booked before the night you attend. Being on a half board basis suited our needs, and when we did pay for our drinks at the pool or piano bar, the drinks were on a par with prices outside the hotel. A big special mention goes to the main barman in the piano bar, such a great guy, with 20+ years service at the hotel ... Top man! We will definitely be returning here very soon, we absolutely loved it ....
Went first in 2025 and loved it so much for the cost we booked to go back 2026, we made error of going a little to early in the season and the pool was cold so kids didn’t enjoy as much burn that was our fault. Staff are very friendly and helpful, good is above average and entertainment is tidy. You can’t go wrong for the cost and would recommend
