Location and staff very friendly, Atmosphere was OK, the room air-conditioning was useless and fridge turns off when card was removed. The ceiling fan was ready to fly off when on.
On arrival late at night was given room 205, on inspection I knew it wasn't one of the refurbished rooms, to my suprise in the morning I was in no way comfortable staying in this room, the rooms next door to mine and all the floors above well on under refurbishment and all balcony's had scaffolding which looked like were holding them up, yes I got moved room which I was told should never have been given. Now im ready to leave and there is no courtesy room a shower inside the pool toilet which is literally 1 yard away from where they are knocking a wall down. Not good enough Catalonia Oro Negro.
We arrived late so missed the restaurant so we were given a sandwich & water. A Nice touch. The room took some finding as the directions weren’t very good. Unfortunately the receptionist’s were hard to understand. The room was on the ground floor looking onto the children’s playground so not the best view, we tried to change rooms but got told they were full. At least it was easier than getting a lift. The room was ok , bathroom ok . Small balcony, the ac was very good & the bed was large & very comfortable. The room was cleaned ok . The rooms were quiet we didn’t hear any noise. The breakfast & evening meal were ok. You have to buy your drinks at tea time.seen some people get turned away for their clothes so watch what you put on. The sunbeds are moved & locked up at night & opened up at 9 on the upper area beside the stage & 10 around the pool which is a bit late . We got told it’s because the lifeguard starts at 10. Even though I never saw anyone go in before 10. If people wanted a particular spot they just got a chair & sat there until the beds are opened. You can still get beds later if you come down later or go to breakfast first. The pool area & upper area are cleaned daily ok . Few areas need to be scrubbed clean. The animation staff are very good & friendly. We had only one meal at dinner time & was nice for the money. The location is good with a few bars 5 minutes away, the strip 10 minutes & the beach 15 minutes. Super market 5 minutes. The closer you get to the strip the dearer the drinks get. Overall a typical 3 star hotel which could be a little bit better. Decent value for money but I think if we came back we’d probably pick another hotel.
Me and my friend stayed here recently and we loved every minute of it from the entertainment to the pool etc. Lovely room and spacious with easy access to everything and close by to lots. Will defo return in the future 💚
The hotel is in a good location, has great food and the staff are fabulous. Few issues with the water/electricity going off (with no prior notice) while we were there, possibly due to ongoing building works
