It's always exciting to discover a holiday hotel like this one: H10 Las Palmeras is a truly fabulous facility in Playa de Las Americas. With 519 rooms, it's one of the biggest on the island – but it's got such a spacious feel to it, and is so carefully laid out that it won't feel like it.
With a breathtaking range of amenities and some equally breathtaking views of its sub-tropical gardens too, the H10 Las Palmeras hits all the right notes for Tenerife holidaymakers who know that choosing the right hotel is just as important as choosing the right holiday destination.
Of course it's not just about how many amenities a hotel has, but how good they really are. For instance, the H10 Las Palmeras has three swimming pools, including the children's pool, and they're all wonderful. The main outdoor pool looks like a big clear lagoon, partly surrounded by spectacular trees and vegetation. You won't be able to resist taking a dip at every opportunity.
Then there's the choice of where to eat. The hotel boasts two restaurants (and four bars), offering an exceptional standard of service and tempting selections for all palates. And because the H10 Las Palmeras is so well situated, you'll have direct access to the beach and the Playa de Las Americas promenade, with all of its many places to eat and drink.
The rooms at the Playa de Las Americas are a great example of what makes this hotel so special. That sleek, sophisticated design aesthetic certainly helps you appreciate it's four star quality.
All double / twin rooms are air conditioned and equipped with satellite TV (with piped music available), telephone and hairdryer; safe boxes are also available to hire. You'll have your own private bathroom and a balcony or terrace so you can bask in the warm, fragrant air. (Sea view rooms are also available – just ask for details.)
Additional facilities – and there are many – include a laundry service, souvenir shop, games and TV rooms, internet corner and a full programme of live entertainment.
Top notch design and facilities makes H10 Las Palmeras in Playa de Las Americas a uniquely stylish hotel in an ideal location.
By the sea with direct access to the beach promenade and surrounded by extensive sub-tropical gardens, H10 Las Palmeras is a large well-equipped hotel in Playa de Las Americas. Rooms are comfortable with top class facilities. Guest amenities include three swimming pools a choice of restaurants and bars, and facilities for children. Guests receive FREE entry into Orchid Gardens in Puerto de La Cruz.
Was very disappointed the rooms very basic food buffet was only ok dinner was a mad rush could not relax so noisy much nicer hotels in that area not with the money no charm about the place it looked very impressive when you walk in to reception if I had seen rooms before I booked would my have booked in
I recently spent a week at this hotel 8th march 2020. It is in a great location on the beach front, but there are some sea views from the side as well. The rooms are a bit small but sufficient...
Just one little interior improvement i would make to this hotel is to change the beds over and the pillows. They are way to hard to be comfortable for a four star hotel. The pool and bar areas are beatiful and you can exit the back door if you fancy a stroll along the sea front. The main restaurant has a good selection of food and there is an area if you would like your food cooked fresh. They had a great variety of seafood, steaks, and each evening a fresh roast, chicken, lamb, beef etc with all the trimmings. Lots of fresh fruit, desserts, ice cream and a chocolate fountain. Plus a sweets/candy bar for those who just need a sweet treat at the end of the meal. I noticed on past reviews food could be a little cool. But there is a microwave tucked up by the fresh cook station should you wish your food to be pipping hot. The surrounding area outside the hotel can be very noisy in the evening up to midnight but it goes quiet after that, so if your not one for having a drink in the Dubliners next door, maybe choose the sister hotel a 10 min walk away which has no bars on the doorstep. All the staff in every department work really hard to make sure you have a wonderful holiday. I was with a Tui Holiday package.
Had an amazing stay here. Staff are always happy to help with any problems and were very friendly when checking in. Rooms are very comfortable, and always clean...
We stayed in room 423 with a Seaview, it was beautiful. Would definetely recommend sea view. The main pool was closed for maintenance, and not open for the time we stayed which was a shame, but the other pool was so lovely that it made up for it. Meals in the morning were delicious, with huge selections of food for all tastes. Lunch was equally as delicious. The dinner food was good, but often a little cold. However there is an option to have your food cooked for you so it is piping hot which I recommend. The hotel has lots of areas inside for relaxing which is really nice in the evenings. The hotel is also in a great location for bars, clubs and restaurant, but nit really that noisy at night. Also, if you're a surfer there are lots of brilliant surf schools which have all you could need. This hotel made for an amazing stay thanks so much !
However, my first impression was a terrible one. If I hadn't have said to one of the female receptionists, I'd like to check in, I think me and my suitcase would still be waiting there! I travel solo, which is no problem for me, in fact I really enjoy it, however on arrival I was completely ignored. There were only 3 of us, including myself, that were checking in. The other people, a couple, were assisted straight away...
There were about 5 staff behind the desk, so I couldn't figure out why I wasn't being helped. When I finally asked to check in, and expressed my annoyance, I was told they were changing shifts, that's why there were so many staff all talking to each other, and ignoring me. If someone had said this to me in the first instance, saying we apologise that we have to keep you waiting, as we're changing shifts, I would have understood. But nada. However, in my opinion, guests checking in should be a priority, they could have chatted with each other about hotel admin. afterwards. A couple oF days later, I received a fruit plate, water, and a card apologising for the inconvenience. I would rather have had the good service on arrival. However, despite the resort 'locking down' on my Birthday, and being unable to sit by the pool on the last 2 days of my holiday, obviously not the hotels fault, I would give this hotel another chance. Because of the 'situation' over there, I felt I couldn't really appreciate everything. I have been to Tenerife many times, but obviously first time at this hotel. Credit where it's due. Spotlessly clean, and the pool area, in my opinion, is the 'jewel in their crown.' Maybe more training required at reception. 'You never get a second chance, to make a first impression.'
We have been staying 4 days in this 4 stars hotel in Tenerife, and immediately we had a bad surprise... the main swimming pool had been closed for maintenance few days before and kept unavailable during our stay. We also had breakfast and dinner which were good but not actually in line to the four stars. The rooms were good and cleaned regularly. Gym is quite small and only open from 8 to 20 but.
I would not return to this hotel.
