Here now! My son loves the entertainment team and all they have to offer!
Mixed bag here. Across 2 rooms I’ve paid almost £600 a night half board.
Positives - Sunbeds good, food decent overall. Pool area excellent. Staff - mostly friendly
Negatives - the staff have no clue of the hotel policies which seem to change day to day. Days 1-3 countless people swarming out of dinner, drinks in hand, being offered a paper cup for takeaway. Day 4 I get stopped and told in no uncertain terms that the policy changed two weeks ago. I pointed out I’d been watching dozens of people do it for the past 3 nights and I was told that was impossible - thus calling me a liar. On trying to discuss this further I was told that the hotel policy in fact changed two years ago, not two weeks ago. Either way, not true as I saw staff assisting people with drinks. So I was made to feel bad for something I thought was ok and they couldn’t make their minds up about.
To make matters worse the staff member pointed me towards a sign that he told me said “coffee only for takeaway and the English translation is incorrect” as a Spanish speaker, I could see it was perfectly translated and to insult an English person by presuming they don’t speak the language is unwise, and unfortunately, still widespread
Similar situation in the pool. Each lifeguard has their own rules. Various people being told off and not understanding why, thinking they’re following the rules. Who knows what they are……certainly not the staff.
I tried to speak to management about it. Instead of a genuine gesture I got offered a trip to the adults only pool (I’ve got kids) and when I asked instead to keep my room for two hours it was impossible.
Suddenly, if I offered to pay for it (instead of a gesture) it was available!
Honestly, compare customer service levels when something totally minor goes wrong here to other places and make a completely insulting gesture of goodwill and you’ll find a family who have spent thousands and were thinking of coming back, instead heading somewhere else. A shame, if they learnt how to look after guests and listen to the feedback, along with appreciating it, this would’ve been an excellent trip. But I’ve left with a sour taste sadly
Good accommodation, nice people
Amazing animation team. Very friendly and encouraging. My children have really enjoyed this holiday. Food is fantastic & hotel very clean.
Love everything! Great energy and brilliant family fun! Love the foam pool parties!
