Good family holiday
We arrived at 11.40pm 3 adults, 1 teenager and 1 child, upon arrival we were asked if we were hungry and offered some food, which we were extremely pleased as we had been travelling since 9am that morning, after we had eaten we were then given our rooms, we booked cosy and they upgraded our room to sea view another surprise. We had emailed the hotel a week earlier asking if we could have rooms near each other which they did do we were on the same floor next door but one to each other. The rooms were clean and good size for my daughter and I, we went all inclusive and plenty of food on offer, snack bar is open till 12am so we were never hungry, 2 pools a bit small but we liked it, their is a private beach with a bar which we visited a couple of times you do need swim shoes as near the sea it is very rocky, the sea is lovely and warm and clear water. We were close to shops, taxis were reasonably priced, we did the pirate boat which we all loved, visited the castle went up in the cable car, we also visited Land of Legends which was expensive one day was not enough. Most of the staff at the hotel were pleasant, thought it a bit rude whilst you are eating they come up and start clearing things away and on our first day we had 4 members of staff come up to us as we are sitting by the pool offerering tattoos, hair braiding, shopping trips and massage treatments, but I did notice they did that to all new arrivals. The evening entertainment was different, one night was a singer who was pretty good and sang alot of British songs only us and another family joined in don't think many British people visit this hotel. We all had a lovely holiday and would recommend Monart City Hotel to anyone coming to Alanya.

So cosy!
Had an amazing experience at this hotel. Everything you need is within a hand’s reach. The staff is helpful and friendly. There is a wide variety of foods, desserts and drinks to choose from, you don’t get bored. Would visit again!
First time - Great experience
We stayed at Monart City Hotel for the first time, and we had a truly wonderful experience. Everything was great, and the entire staff made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
A special thank you to all the employees—the housekeeping staff, the food and beverage team, and the pool staff—for their kindness, hard work, and excellent service. We would also especially like to praise Heidy at the reception, who was extremely kind, helpful, and professional.
We really enjoyed our stay and would gladly return. We would highly recommend Monart City Hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing holiday!
Beautiful stay
It was a beautiful stay, we had no problems. The staff was very nice to us and helped us when we needed help. The room was also very nice and got cleaned very well too. Heidy is a nice receptionist and the other ones at the reception were nice too, everyone was. Overall i’ve had a great stay in the monart city hotel in alanya
More a 3 star ⭐than a 4 star ⭐
Location: is good with its own beach area across a busy road , here you will find snacks soft drinks beer & wine The beach is very hard under foot and the rocks within the sea very very slippery It’s impossible to walk along the beach for any distance, plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas are available also has showers
Atmosphere in the hotel : there are a lot and I mean a lot of rude Eastern Europeans that don’t acknowledge you when you’ve opened a door or stood to the side for them to pass Other than that it’s a very chilled vibe
Staff: Are very friendly and help you when you ask for help ie preparing you a table a busy meal times in the main restaurant Calling you a taxi No table waiter service here but tables are cleared frequently and cleaned Guys down in the snack bar are fantastic and wait on you hand and foot nothing is too much trouble for them We only encountered one rude member of staff a young girl who worked the ice cream bar …
Rooms : We had 2 comfort rooms for our family of 4 Negatives hardly any space for long clothes ie dresses etc and very little wardrobe space for clothing for two weeks Shower doors don’t seal well so you end up with water all over the floor , toilet at times takes forever to fill Noisy air con. , noisy fridge You think you’ve got the the temp right for the water when showering only for it to go burning hot or freezing cold Positives Beds are comfy Cleaned daily and water re filled in fridge at no extra charge we had a decent view of the sea from our room too
Sunbeds:
All though it states not to reserve beds people still do so if you come down after 9am likelihood is you won’t get one Pools: Pool at rear has a slide that is switched on and off throughout the day Front pool has limited sun loungers
Food : Snack bar everything is cooked to order and the salad bar is amazing! Pizzas and burgers are beautiful Ice cream is gorgeous and the frappe is delicious from the cafe on monart street just near snack bar
Main restaurant: Breakfast is ok nothing special here , fresh pancakes fried eggs cold meats n cheese fresh fruit croissants tea coffee n juice Evening meal Loads of different meats salads rice chips there’s even a bbq area threw the double doors all in all none of our family never went hungry and no one was ill Standout fresh honeycomb
Drinks: Soft drinks are all branded ie coke n Fanta Cocktails are only available at the pool bar at the front of the hotel these include sex on the beach tequila sunrise etc Beer is effes Also machines for self serve hot drinks and cold juice
entertainment: No daytime entertainment other than music playing , no kiddies club either Belly dancing was on four times in our two weeks stay **BEWARE THE BINGO TICKET *** this is given out at the dance entertainment and basically it’s a free purse or bag but you are taken and no doubt harassed into buying more stuff ! We actually win but didn’t shout out after reading a previous review Other entertainment was DJ suate he was on twice during our stay Best evening was with The Gerry band everyone was up dancing and singing
Free WiFi is good throughout the hotel and pool sides
All in all the hotel could do with some tlc Ie the pool table and dart board area could do with a complete re vamp Also that area is where the cats go toilet although the hotel cleans this area it’s still quite smelly The pool table has missing pockets so the balls ran down the grass … Also it’s absolutely sweltering when trying to play darts or pool
In the main restaurant There’s massive crack in the counter where the hot food is served up … All in all We had a fab holiday , but this hotel could be so much better if got the tlc it deserves The staff work very hard and we’re doing extra shifts due to a staff shortage All the bar staff we encountered were happy and had fun with you …
