Situated just a fifteen-minute drive from the popular seaside resort of Kemer and less than an hour outside of bustling Antalya, this modern resort hotel is backed by the pine-shrouded Taurus Mountains and the turquoise blue of the Mediterranean Sea. The beach is only a short stroll away, and the hotel offers a wide range of facilities and services for a spectacular holiday experience. Guests might dine on Turkish or international cuisines in the restaurant, relax in the spa complete with fitness centre, Turkish bath, two saunas and a steam bath, or simply lounge in the sun by one of two expansive outdoor pools with a drink from the pool bar while children play on the water slides. The games room offers bowling, billiards and table tennis in addition to video games, and the hotel features its own entertainment programme for children and adults.
I stayed at Grand Ring Hotel for nine days with my friend and our children, and unfortunately I can honestly say that I was relieved when it was finally time for us to leave. I’ll start with the good things because there were some. Our room was clean and it was cleaned regularly throughout our stay, so I have absolutely no complaints about housekeeping. The hotel also has its own beach, although the beach is very rocky and getting into the sea is not particularly comfortable. The food was OK, nothing special. I would probably give it around 3 out of 5. The biggest problem for me was the queues. There were constantly people waiting for food and sometimes you could spend ages just trying to get something to eat. Communication was also difficult. A lot of the staff didn’t speak English and most of the time they tried to speak to us in Russian. When I explained that I didn’t understand Russian, some members of staff seemed annoyed by this rather than trying to communicate with me in another way. One member of staff actually said to me, “Well, you came to Turkey.” Yes, exactly. I came to Turkey, not Russia. I found the whole situation very strange, especially for a hotel with guests from so many different countries. But honestly, none of this is the main reason I’m giving this hotel one star. The main reason is that I did not feel safe here. During our holiday, there were two completely separate incidents. First, a woman attacked my daughter and scratched her. Then later, in another incident, a different woman became aggressive towards me. She hit me in the face, spat at me, scratched me and damaged my clothes. I was genuinely frightened and shocked by what happened. What made everything even worse was the way the situation was dealt with afterwards. I expected someone from the hotel or management to actually take the situation seriously and help me. Instead, the only help I received was some ice and one wipe. That was it. The next morning my face was swollen and I had a large scratch on my leg. I was still shocked by everything that had happened, and I simply couldn’t understand how something so serious could happen and I could be left feeling like nobody really cared. I completely understand that the hotel cannot control every person staying there. If another guest decides to behave aggressively, that is obviously that person’s responsibility. But the hotel absolutely can control what happens afterwards and how they support a guest who has been attacked. In my situation, I did not feel supported or protected at all. As a mum travelling with children, that is incredibly important to me. After something happened to my daughter and then something happened to me as well, I simply stopped feeling safe there. A holiday is supposed to be somewhere you can relax and enjoy time with your children. Instead, towards the end of this holiday I just wanted to go home. I personally would never return to Grand Ring Hotel. If you are thinking about booking this hotel, particularly if you are travelling with children, please take my experience into consideration. I can only speak about what happened to me and my family during our nine days there, but unfortunately, based on that experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was great — the hotel is beautiful, clean, and well maintained, the rooms are comfortable, and the food is delicious with plenty of choices. The staff are very friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The atmosphere is amazing, and it’s a perfect place to relax and enjoy your holiday. We would definitely love to come back again!
A special thank you to Osman — he is definitely the best bartender in the hotel! Always friendly, positive, and attentive. He makes amazing drinks and always puts you in a good mood. 🍹❤️
It was so nice. And the beach was so pretty. Expecially the waiter Osman at the beach was very kind and also very friendly. He smiles a lot and seems very happy. He gives us a a welcoming feeling.
Very nice experience for me and my family. I really liked the environment. The Spa staff was very friendly. They offered me a free massage, then I asked for a massage for the following days and they gave me a very good price on the offer. They offered me a free Hammam and a face mask and a fish treatment. Arif and Amel became very good friends with me and helped me with everything as well and Monika the girl who did the massage had golden hands. I suggest it to everyone.❤️❤️
