Pool

Aygul is a perfect cleaner! We are very happy with her! There was not a show every night. There is not enough animation. No parties during the day. The food is mainly Russian. Only one day in the main restaurant the dinner was Turkish - really disappointed that we couldn’t eat it every day. The fact that there is no borek with cheese and it is only with potatoes or spinach is also really astonishing 🤷‍♀️ most of the time the food is plain and basic. The best guy is the old baker. He is realli kind and does the best lahmajun and croissants. Most of the staff doesn’t speak Turkish ot English..

It is okay but nothing special.

It's a lovely resort and the staff work so hard. It was just disappointing that there was no X factor that separates it from our other resorts experienced such as Trendy Lara last year. (We paid a lot more this year expecting more)

The biggy. There was at least four occasions of adults or large kids pooing yes pooing in the enormous pool. I don't know what the answer is, re human faeces but it's unfortunate for the resort as they can't control the guests and their families more than they do, it's not small children and they provide swim nappies. We witnessed large children playing in two of the areas that resulted in cleaning. They didn't close the pool …ever so l guess it remains acceptable to the families that do that sort of thing. And perhaps that’s the learning for them.

They also seem to encourage cats and on one evening a cat had messed (poo again) everywhere outside our block. We had to report it 3 times before it was cleaned and it still has the skid marks where guests had walked it everywhere.

The resort guests are mainly I would guess 90% Russian speaking, who are not friendly or acknowledging. There was no issue battling for sun loungers however.
The facilities are good and so are the rooms but it's a 20 year old resort so judge for
yourself if you go. The show entertainment is (for adults) every other day but worth it. Shame many guests come and go and disrespect the excellent performers.
The food is good sometimes very good, only one ala carte restaurant which we didn't try (echo the extortionate costs mentioned by others).
The buffet restaurant gets exceptionally busy at peak times and there is not enough tables, particularly at breakfast.
Some staff are wonderful particularly the games and entertainment staff.
There is not a lot to do outside of the fixed facilities, we were open to spending on watersports, golf, treatments etc but much of which isn't offered or the information is very hard to find.
For a resort in belek with such close proximity to golf we were surprised to have little or no option to play any of the local courses. This clearly is not a golf resort and our rep was shocked when we asked about it. You would need to do your own pre planning if this is what you want.
Oh and the alcohol is good and the roller skate waiters are frequent but the cocktails are awful.. every single time and no matter which bar or which choice.
Finally we echo the doctor/hospital costs .. it’s insurance necessary and no matter how minor the issue (in our case an ear infection from the pool) we lost a day and £2000 in hospital.

Just expected better

We have had an amazing time.   This was our first visit on a recommendation from a friend, and it won’t be the last.  

Calista is fabulous.   There are so many things to do (if you choose).  The service was excellent, the room spacious and very clean.   The quality and variety of food is also amazing.   We hired a pavilion for the day and this was another great experience that we’d repeat next time.   

Our son attending the PSG football camp for 4 days (c60 mins in the morning and the same late afternoon).   He enjoyed every minute of it and the coaching was great and our teenage daughter was especially impressed by “The Garage” (venue with activities for 13-17yo’s).

The guest relations team are super helpful and friendly.

We are already thinking about dates to return next year.

Lovely Resort. The team there helps with anything you need. Food was great, live music and hows were really fun. Near by water sports was reasonable and Land of Legends is great. Kids had a great time in the pools and waterslides, beach was clean and no problem getting chairs anytime. No complaints.

Worth a Visit
