Definitely not 5 star

Review by Alison M Ipswich, United Kingdom

First the good points: We turned up after 9pm and although the restaurant was closed they rustled up a plate of food which was good of them and the food ok. The lobby is lovely and the reception staff and bell boys attentive. We were taken to our room which was lovely, side sea view (although distant) but the room was clean. Bathroom a good size with a nice shower, there was a double and single bed which gave more room. Absolutely no fighting for sunbeds, everyone seems to come down late, we were down most mornings at about 9am and were often the first there. Pool is clean and not freezing. Aqua gym twice a day which is nice but they do not say it loud enough so you have to keep an eye on times. There is a shuttle to the beach every 30 minutes, beach is okay but stoney. Water is warm and fairly clear. Ice creams at 3pm daily Burgers, chips and chicken nuggets by the pool from 4pm which is nice and some minced beef wraps which are ok. So....

the rest: The food is awful, only chicken, Turkey or veal along with minced meat, mainly in stews or minced meat loaf, minimal vegetables, spaghetti bolognese has no meat just tomato sauce, chips are cold and soggy. Some deserts served in foil trays (not 5 star) and very much the same thing every day. Definite lack of meat, I can eat anything but I struggled, even if you got a salad there was only tuna filled with bones but no meat and very little cheese. The dining area is like a cafeteria, no real waiter service for drinks, you have to go to the bar or get water from a plastic carton. Extremely busy between 7pm and 8pm because they start closing things down from 8pm which is awful, only open in the evening from 7pm til 9pm and if you go at 8.30 nothing is left and most things have been closed. Breakfast is ok for eggs, toast or salad but not much else. There is a very high Turkish and Muslim presence So no pork like bacon or sausages.

There is no quiet area around the pool, at 10am the music starts and is quite loud if you want to read but you do get used to it. At 11.30 the noise level increases for aqua gym and water polo then at 12pm pool game, this is fun but really loud and basically the same every day.

On Saturday there is a pool foam party that has mega loud music and lasts for 3 hours, it is fun for the kids and youngsters and even I got involved for a short time but it just went on too long.

Entertainment is basic and there is a dragon party that again has. Mega loud base and goes on to 11.30pm.

There is a disco somewhere on site but I don’t know where.

Drinks are also basic, all served in a straight glass even if a cocktail and no named brands.

Staff are generally miserable and speak little or no English. It was primarily German and Turkish guests with a few Russian.

Overall we had nice weather (13th May for 7 days( but this is not a five star hotel it is 3 at best, we would not go back or recommend it.

NOT all inclusive; fraudulent information

Review by 471jeanettek Erzurum, Turkey

IF i could give 0, I would. I booked through Agoda, which popped up through Trip Advisor's "all inclusive" search. The hotel even writes on their own website that they are Ultra All Inclusive...

Apparently, that means they provide bottles of water and a coffee machine in your room. Meals are not included. Drinks are not included. When I called in English, their English speaker said over and over that he could not understand me. I am an English Language Learning teacher IN TURKEY. I spoke slowly, clearly, and used simple words. Then I had my Turkish fiancé call. He called them three times to speak to them in Turkish and three times they asked him to wait a moment and then hung up on him. Lastly, I booked this through Agoda...but then it turns out they use a third party for reservations. The third party refuses to cancel with refund...not even a partial refund. Absolutely horrible service. Fraudulent hotel.
