Excellent Hotel

Review by darnelt2021

The hotel is very nice, the staff here treat you amazing. Everything is so clean and the environment is peaceful. As for the entertainment, every day there are different activities and the crew entertainment involve people into the activities for example, Erol who is an animator has a very good energy and people like it...

In general I really reccomend this beautiful hotel.

Great hotel for the price

Review by Ads7983

This was the first time I stayed at this hotel and it was very good for the price. From the moment I checked in the experience was great. A girl called Emine Ismail on the front reception desk was great and very helpful, she made the check in process very smooth and also throughout my duration there is well, she was generally very helpful in any questions I had...

I overall stayed here for a week, the food was decent but quite repetitive each day. The WiFi was decent when it worked, there was a couple of days throughout my trip where the WiFi kept dropping out and then just going off for a few hours at a time which was annoying! The girls at the guest relation desks are also very helpful especially Tulin, I countinusly kept bumping into Tulin whilst roaming around the hotel and Tulin is a very bubbly and helpful person. She would always stop and ask if you where ok and would generally have a chat with you to make sure everything was going good which makes you feel very welcoming. The restaurant staff are also great especially a guy called Baris he always went out his way to make sure you had everything kept bringing drinks to the table and anything else you needed. Overall I would definitely stay here again all the staff were great however and I would like to say a special thanks to Emine, Tulin and Baris these 3 were great and definitely are valuable staff to this hotel. Please pass on my gratitude to these.

My 22-day stay at Grand Park Lara in May-2021

Review by aliky2021

I visited Antalya in May 2021. The country was in lockdown due to Kovid-19 pandemic. Most of the hotels were closed...

I stayed at a small hotel for few days. Hotel had no restaurant and most restaurants nearby were closed. Then I shifted to ‘Grand Park Lara’ hotel because all food was included in the price. And I stayed there 22 days. This hotel can accommodate up to 3000 guests. When I came, there were only fewer than 50 guests. Most of them were tourists from Ukraine. I got a family room on the second floor, with one queen size bed in one room and two single beds in another smaller room with a small shower stall and toilet in between the rooms. It had a balcony with flower pots and a tiny table attached to the wall and an uncomfortable chair to sit on. I wish there was a comfortable chair to sit and a little larger table to put my computer. Room with the queen bed had a room air-conditioner. Small TV in each room, but only had mostly local Turkish language programs. Rooms are small. Mosquito was a problem. In 22 days, bed sheets and pillow covers were never changed. Ladies who clean the room seems to be over-worked. Restaurants are open from 7 am to 9 pm. Chicken and Beef and Fish and fruits and vegetables and Dessert and cheap alcohol were provided. I gained 10 kg weight during my stay. Because of Kovid restrictions there were no music or entertainment in the evenings. Hotel has its own beach. To go to beach, one has to cross the busy street and walk about 1 km. During my stay, only few people ventured to the beach because the sea was still cold. One host named Abdullah at the ‘Pool bar’ was on roller coaster all the time. He is probably the fastest host I have ever seen and very friendly too. Ms. Tulin in Customer Relations needs special mention also. There was an older guest who came without any friends or family. Ms. Tulin felt sorry for him and she took him to the beach and accompanied him to lunch and dinner many times. She telephoned me in my room once and asked if everything was okay with me. Because she noticed that I was coming out of my room only for eating. She wants every guest to enjoy their stay including the elderly and sick guests who came without family or friends. Russian and Ukrainian tourists get lower room rents through their tour operators and they come here for sea and sand and free alcohol. The staff was generally friendly. I talked to many guests who were disappointed by the massage-parlor named ‘Amon’. Avoid the massage parlor. One might find items in the souvenir shops cheaper outside. I found some sweets at sale price at the Turkish sweets shop. The health clinic in the hotel arranged Kovid-Testing required for my return trip. No free shuttle service provided to or from the airport. Tour operators arrange their own transfer service for their clients. I had to hire a taxi to the hotel and from hotel to airport. Negotiate a price before getting on the Taxi. I was careless with cash and $2500 disappeared either in the first hotel where I stayed or in this hotel. Hotel rooms have safe boxes to keep valuables. If you are careless like me with money and valuables, rent the safe boxes in the room for peace of mind. Lara is a tourist area. If you are not a (Russian) tourist, you have no business staying at this hotel.
