Laguna Beach Alya Resort and Spa

Very disappointing experience – not what we expected Unfortunately, we are extremely disappointed with our stay so far. Today is only our 3rd day, and already we have had several issues. We booked the Italian à la carte restaurant for our group of 6, as it was also our friends’ anniversary. Sadly, the food was terrible and the staff were very unfriendly. We ended up leaving after they served the pasta because the experience was so disappointing. We spoke to Guest Relations, who assured us that they would do something special in the room for the anniversary. Unfortunately, nothing was done, which made the situation even more disappointing. The main buffet is also very poor, with limited choices and food that is not up to the standard we expected. The housekeeping service has been poor as well. Even though we left tips, the towels were not changed. On top of that, toilet paper was simply left on the table in the room instead of being placed in the bathroom. Honestly, we stayed in a 3-star hotel last year and the experience was much better than this one. We expected much more from this hotel and, unfortunately, we feel very let down. Very disappointed 😞 and definitely not the experience we were hoping for.

Hi stayed at Laguna Beach and spa resort in July with my daughter and grandchildren.Let me start by saying that I have stayed at many 4* plus hotels over many years and this hotel is definitely not a 4* I personally would rate it around a 3* the food was not very good at all the drinks were quite poor quality and the cleaner on our section of 2nd floor was very lazy we stayed for 14 nights the cleaner on the opposite side of the hotel seems to clean very well as we could see her from our balcony If you are looking for 4* hotel give this one a miss.
