Not a 5-star Ultra All Inclusive Hotel👎🏻👎🏻

We stayed here for 10 days, and unfortunately the hotel did not meet our expectations of a 5-star Ultra All Inclusive resort at all.

Poor service

The staff were generally unfriendly, especially at reception. Very few spoke English, which made communication difficult. When trying to explain something, we often felt that the staff became irritated rather than trying to help.

Terrible cleaning upon arrival

When we checked in, the room was not properly cleaned. There were popcorn shells on the floor and pieces of paper under the bed. After we complained, someone was sent up to do a very quick, superficial cleaning, but no proper deep cleaning was carried out.

The pool area and the beach, however, were relatively clean.

Lots of food – but almost no taste

There is a wide variety of dishes, but the food was very repetitive over our 10 days and almost everything was bland. Poorly seasoned, very little salt, and much of it felt overcooked. In the end, we started eating out instead.

The dining hall was also extremely hot, the AC barely worked, and there was a strong smell of food. You were sweating while eating.

We actually found that the food at Burger King tasted better than the hotel’s food.

Not really “Ultra All Inclusive”

Drinks were almost always served in plastic cups. The beer and cocktails included were extremely weak and felt very watered down.

Ice cream is also not included and costs extra, which we find strange for a hotel marketed as Ultra All Inclusive. This should be made much clearer before booking.

The positives

Chicken World was one of the few places we enjoyed. There you could, among other things, get pizza between around 12:30–19:00.

The hotel’s private beach is also a plus. Sunbeds and towels are included, and there is beer and burgers available at the beach, although only until around 4 PM.

Conclusion

If you expect a true 5-star standard, good service, tasty food, and a genuine Ultra All Inclusive experience, I would recommend choosing a different hotel.

For us, this was far from the standard the hotel is marketed as, and we would not book it again.

Really bad shape in the rooms with mold in shower and bad smell, also cockroaches at night. The food is same all meals and fitted only for Turkish or Russians. No variation and same every night, if compared to other ultra sic hotells in Alanya this is rock bottom. Many of the staff rude and should know more about hotel service over all. The pool is great but a joke getting sun beds before 7 in the morning then all gets booked with towels and seems ok by the hotell staff. Wifi not included and payed for

Avoid this hotell!!!!!

We have just arrived back from 2 weeks in Senza resort and spa. Overall we had a good time. This was mainly due to the family and friends that we went with.

The hotel I would say is more a 3.5 star. The communal area were all very clean. The room housekeeping was not to a very high standard at all. We do not let this ruin the holiday. It is a little tired not run down but could do with updating.

Staff were a mixed bag. Bar staff at the pool bar were pretty friendly and you could have a joke with them. The cleaning staff were also very very friendly and polite. The main reception staff and restaurant staff though were very rude. Not welcoming at all. Almost to the point it was hard work for them to even speak to you. One restaurant waiter called Ali was very friendly though and always had a smile and said hello.

Two things that not just us found frustrating was firstly… the safe box in the room ypu have to pay for! It’s not right you have to pay to keep your money safe. Secondly… Wi-Fi ypu have to pay to €2 a day per device. This was a cheek as you need this for any communication for transfers and holiday information. They were 2 really bits that let it down.

The food although was quite repetitive there was a large selection and it was all very tasty. And some reviews said it was cold we didn’t not find this at all.

The pool and water park were great the kids loved them. Although the lifeguards at the slide were very whistle happy. Every few seconds they were telling people off. Some times justified but mostly just to be seen I think.

One thing that we found odd for a family hotel is how late and how loud the music at night was. It was quiet and a good volume until about 22.30. Then it was played so loud until 00.00 ypu could not sleep. Really odd for a family resort.

Overall the hotel is a bit dated. But if you go with the right people you will have a great time.
