Perfect views over Bodrum

Review by ryanpburns Baku, Azerbaijan

We booked a suite. Size wise it was nothing special. The views were amazing though especially from the restaurant which we used on a couple of the nights and everyday for breakfast...

Breakfast was very good it you like Mediterranean style food. We used taxis to get to the Marina - I wouldn't fancy the walk as it a steep hill down to the Bodrum center and Marina. Pool was OK. Had to go looking for people to serve drinks by the pool sometimes but not a big issue.

Mrs

Gokhan, can, Enes and Firat were the most amazing and helpful staff that anyone could possibly ask for. They are always enthusiastic to help and always have a welcoming smile on their face. Thank you so much for the lovely experience, cannot wait to visit again!

Global Sales Director

Review by Nrdnstyle68 Istanbul, Turkey

I deleted the negative review I had written about the hotel before. because the hotel staff especially the manager Gökhan made the rest of my stay perfect. Thank you for your friendly and kind hosts...

I still think that the hotel needs to be renovated, but with smiles and attention, the place can suddenly turn into the most perfect place.

Not so luxurious

Review by PJeff86 Birmingham, Alabama

Hotel is affiliated with SLH of Hyatt so I book with a cat 1-4 certificate into a basic room. Got upgraded to a junior corner suite (2 level upgrade) but I am not sure whether this is due to Hyatt globalist status or not (which shouldn’t per Hyatt policy). Murphy bed has been prepared pre arrival as requested...

Also has a nice welcome amenity with wine, cheese and fruit. Hotel is very under staffed. No doormen help with bags, no elevators between floors (given the building was renovated from an old castle?) Room feels very tired. Breakfast is OK. Pool is very small. View is decent but remember it is not close to the beach at all. Will I pay for the cash price of $300? probably not.

Tired rooms, nice view

Review by Marla O Venice, Florida

When we entered the Mamara Bodrum we were very excited. Eclectic, whimsical art in the lobby, brightly colored furniture, and a fabulous view. Now to the real review...

The rooms are very tired, and the electrical system is a mess. This may have been five star in the past, but not now. All the staff seems very inexperienced and young, with no adults in sight. One more positive…the food is great. But with a Mandarin Oriental in town, they better clean up their act, or there will be much less business.
