Tropicana Beach Hotel

Fantastic hotel - We would go back for sure

Two families of four, inc. four teenagers. 10 nights in July. Self catering. Really pretty, lovely hotel.

This hotel is quite small compared to the monster hotels in Turkey, which I think helps set it apart.

Amazing staff The bar and pool guys n girls are brilliant, so helpful and great with the teenagers. Really friendly and attentive, remember everyone's names, which i find crazy.

Lovely big Pool, no shallow area. The pool is lovely and really big compared to the size of hotel/amount of guests. The pool has steps in to it at one end but no shallow places, I think the depth is about 5ft ish, so need to be aware for non swimmers. The water was really warm when we went, bit of a heat wave while we were there.

Lots of sun beds and sun shades. There was always beds available throughout the stay for the vast majority of time. If there wasn't any free, the pool guy would fetch more for people, so no problem.

Rooms We had a one bed apartment that was big enough for the four of us and plenty of room for the four suitcases. Kids slept in the living room. Bathroom is big enough with a good walk in shower. The shower is powerful - great for the wife and daughter washing their hair. Big mirror. Soap, shampoo and shower gel inc. Small kitchen with table and four chairs, sink, good fridge, kettle, small hob which we didn't use.

Bedroom Double bed with decent firm mattress. Big wardrobe which has the safe in. Hair dryer also in the room. Mirror and small dresser. Plenty of storage in wardrobe and bedside cabinets.

Air con could do with two units. Air con is good but only one unit in the living and so have to have the bedroom door open to keep the bedroom cool. The air con in our in-laws room was not as strong as ours - so probably varies by room.

Food We had breakfast and lunch often at the hotel, it was really nice and good quality - with very reasonable prices!

Cleanliness Spotless everywhere. Rooms were cleaned really well.

WiFi Good WiFi throughout the complex inc rooms and by the pools.

Location Lovely quiet location on the beach/harbour. You can find places to eat five minutes along the path that runs along the beach. Ten minute walk into Gumbet for the main restaurants and bars.

If you need a gym. There is a gym called BlackFit which is 5 mins in a taxi 200TLR

Just arrived home after spending a week at Tropicana self catering apartment. Many guests return here year after year due to the owner and his amazing staff. Never a dull moment they will always have you laughing. Great pool, variety of good fresh foods to choose from and the cocktails are fab! And nothing is to much trouble. Location is within easy (10 minutes) walk of a variety of bars, restaurants and shops. Apartment rooms are nice size with little kitchen, fridge, kettle and cleaned throughout your stay.
