Great stay!

Review by VioreliaIonas Bukovel, Ukraine

We switched hotels the first day we arrived to Bodrum, as the one we chose had terrible facilities for children and it happened for Kefaluka to have an available room, and we were the lucky family to get it, and even to be upgraded to a family room vs a standard one. We traveled with our 3 years old son and we found this hotel very kid friendly. Even though the rooms seem to be a little outdated, it did not bother us as we only slept there and took showers...

I would change the blankets though. But we absolutely loved the view, the food was delicious, big playground, lovely pools, beautiful water, nice a la carte restaurants and great animations. We enjoyed our stay at Kefaluka and would definitely recommend to friends.

Waste of time and money

Review by _O8070VK Padua, Italy

It was quite pricey and we thought that it could be worth it. The ONLY good thing about it is the view, the water and the mountains are beautiful. Everything else was a nightmare:

  • VERY DIRTY and unpleasant facilities...

I found a clean glass after previous four were dirty. Same applies to the room and the restaurant😖 We sleep on a mattress that doesn’t fit the bed and they put two small sheets because couldn’t find one that fits 😂

  • no sweets after 7pm (only restaurant that closes at 9:30pm). Can you imagine to drink coffee and not have some sweets?!🤯
  • coffee is super bad, coffee machines are like in a low-key office. They have one professional coffee machine in the whole hotel, but said that it doesn’t work 😂
  • food is just bad. Better stay hungry than eat the burger that makes you sick🤢
  • the staff doesn’t understand English (I’m not native speaker either) as an example nobody couldn’t understand when I asked where I can find “sweets”
  • the staff is negligent. It’s easier to get yourself a drink than to ask for one

Fantastic experience

Review by IftiEdin Edinburgh, United Kingdom

Absolutely stunning views from this resort and extremely friendly staff. Good range of activities, food, and space for relaxing. Every single staff member i met were super friendly and welcoming...

Was helped a lot by Olga the chief guest services. At the main eating hall, the waiters and waitresses went above and beyond. I used the spa twice, the service was excellent. Highly recommend this resort if travelling to Bodrum. The only thing I would recommend the resort is that the bedrooms need a little bit of modernisation as the furniture is looking tired. But this shouldn’t stop anyone from choosing this place!

Very good experience but little downside

Review by malik_uz London, United Kingdom

We stayed with our family and parents from 12-19 June and it was great time and all the activities were perfect and kids baking that our little boy really enjoyed and kids party at 21.00 that they specially invite you during your dinner . We played pool basketball and that was great also very organised and had lots of fun. You don’t need to go out of the hotel all facilities makes you feel enjoyable...

We had waiter Nizami and Ramadan that they were very good and given best service and working very hard . I can give 5 star for both of them.

Downside - that they didn’t filled up the shampoos even though that was empty and lots of flyers that we didn’t like and you don’t expect this kind of things on 5 star hotel. They could invest to use insects killer in rooms that will be nice .

Photographers - the hotels has private photographers that you can use if you happy to pay to make one album around €750 and this is ripping off all dodgy people in there that hotel should make the rules that they don’t charged more than average price. They’re guys in photographers Akif and Mahmud that dodgy and try to take all your money and don’t trust them always ask price of your photos first . They tried to take €400 just for digital photos which is ridiculous and I didn’t pay and didn’t like them at all rude and unprofessional craps .

Traditional bath was good and Kadir ( Marco ) he was a good man .

I would like to visit in the future and I could leave 5 star but because of photographers I only leave 4 .

Many thanks

One of the best holidays we've ever had

PEACEFUL - We stayed at Kefaluka at the start of June for 10 nights and were amazed with how quiet it was there. Somewhere around 50% capacity I'd guess. So, no fighting over sun loungers, no queues at the bar or at the buffet, and plenty of space in the pool.

TEMPERATURE - After breakfast buffet we'd go straight to the pool for about 9am and it was usually 27 degrees...

Which would quickly rise to mid 30s in the afternoon. At 6pm it was often between 35-38 degrees. My routine was to sit in the shade for a bit with a beer or cocktail, then jump in the pool and swim around to cool off.

STAFF - Ten out of ten! Extremely friendly, helpful, polite and most of them could speak English (thankfully cos I cant speak Turkish). The waiters that look after you when you're sat having your buffet are quick to bring you drinks, and then bring refills before you even need to ask. The bar staff that work around the pool are all friendly guys that serve you with a smile. And the Entertainment team are a fantastic bunch of people that are great at their jobs, and will take the time to mingle and really get to know you.

ENJOYMENT -There was always something to do. After all, it is a 5 star resort. So between the relaxing and swimming I'd be playing water polo, archery, beach volleyball, football. Had us a lovely Bali massage. Took a walk along the beach into the nearby village. My 11 year old was always playing on the water slides. In the evening there were shows to watch, a couple of beach parties, and a lovely peaceful balcony bar that overlooked the Aegean sea over to Kos.

FOOD AND DRINK - The beer on tap is Efes Pilsner, which is delicious. And there's hundreds of different spirits and mixers for whatever long drink or cocktail you desire. The buffet was always stocked to the max and there's plenty of choice for event the fussiest of eaters. Couldn't fault it.

VALUE FOR MONEY - Yes i feel it was great value for money. The location, the rooms, the people around you, the weather, the unlimited food and drink, the activities and the facilities all resulted in one of the best hols we've ever had, and we WILL be going back again.
