This 52-room hotel features an outdoor pool, restaurant and bar and is located less than 100 m from Calis Beach. Local amenities are available within a short stroll of the hotel and public transport is closeby with easy access to the market town of Fethiye. The beautiful lagoon at Olu Deniz is 17 km away and can also be reached by public transport.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
This hotel was great for location but the food was not nice. There was no variety. The staff were not welcoming or very friendly. We booked half board and spent more money eating out. Very disappointed.
We had the best time. Beautiful gardens and a spotless quiet pool. The owner was so kind and thoughtful. Would definitely return. A lovely stay in a a traditional Turkish home. Great food, clean rooms. Çalis is a gorgeous little seaside resort not too busy but still has a buzz
Can't fault hotel except, no English people all Turkish. No milk put with Tea as they expect you to be Turkish. You have to get milk from. Cereal table or ask every day for milk to go in Tea. Am disappointed that no English here and Turkish residents don't even acknowledge you or smile or anything. I feel like I'm an alien here.
Stayed in this hotel with my family and didn't quite meet our requirements. The main issue was the food which was not really suitable for fussy teenagers, who might be used to a buffet style dinner. There was no main course choice in the evening meal, which is fine for the adults as there is a good cold mezes selection, but not if your kids have limited tastes. Also cold chips would appear for breakfast along with the daily boiled eggs providing the warm option. Location is good, 5 mins walk maximum to the beach but Fethiye is a sprawling city and roads are congested, so travel south will be long winded. The hotel is located in calis beach 20-30 mins by Dolmus to Fethiye centre( marina) Rooms nice and simple and cleaned regularly with friendly cleaners. Dolmus minibus are cheap and the water taxi less than 10 mins walk away There is no evening bar meaning there is no real focal point in the evening ( they are missing out on revenues here), but there is a nice promenade in calis beach with lots of bars and restaurants. Guests are mainly Turkish and Russian. The hotel is reasonably priced and the staff helpful and if you know what you want it may meet your requirements. Just not ours.
I am currently staying at the Aymes Hotel and I can't really fault it. Its clean and the staff are really friendly and helpful but not pushy. The pool and the garden are lovely. There is plenty of choice for breakfast, the usual Turkish fayre with fresh water melon each day. Help yourself to as little or as much as you like. The room is simple and has a fridge (mainly keeping my make up and medication cool) and air con at a reasonableextra cost - and I've needed it in August. The cleaners are lovely and there's fresh towels daily. The Aymes is about half way down Calis Kordon with lots of restaurants and the beach. The dolmus to Fethiye runs right outside and the water taxi 5 minutes walk so it is convenient for everything. As a female solo traveller, I could not recommend the Aymes more, really glad I booked it. Not all staff speak English (but then I don't speak Turkish!) but it's never a problem to get anything you need. Definitely a 5/5 from me and I'd definitely stay again.
