BEST HOTEL EVER!
I have just left with my two friends, and was blown away by this incredible hotel, it's run by a bunch of genuinely nice people. My friends and I were soooooo happy and super sad to leave. 100% will be coming again!!!! THE FOOD WAS AMAZING, location was incredible, walking distance from anything you need, super clean! Just an amazing atmosphere with the buzz of fun nice people!!! Always pool chair available. INCREDIBLE VALUE! We had a top floor room, with an incredible view. Honestly, I could rave about this place forever, JUST GO TO IT!!!!
Our 8 days at the lovely Basar
Lovely small hotel in a good location . We are in our seventies and just wanted a hotel which was peaceful and decent food . Thats what we got . Good staff who were always helpful. Great cook who cooked omelettes and eggs each morning with a smile .Wifi good and rooms cleaned well. Couple of little niggles like a lot of Turkish small hotels winding staircase but we coped. Would i stay here again definately !!!!!!!!

Decent hotel
A great hotel, not to noisy jaunt away from the centre. Super friendly staff all very helpful. Stayed here over a few years and always stayed the same.

Lovely Hotel
What a lovely hotel, very clean and comfortable. The bed was so comfy, towels and bedding changed regularly. We had breakfast included and what a feast it was, Turkish style buffet but something for everyone and a lovely man will make omelettes or pancakes freshly for you. We booked a deluxe double room and it was huge, we were very impressed. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Based on 2 sites next to each other, we were in the second site and found the pool was a lot quieter and relaxing. Would recommended this hotel as only 5/6 min walk to town and the bars but nice and quiet area at nights.

Best all rounder in Dalyan!
3rd time staying at this hotel with my wife. The Basar offers fantastic value for money, the hotel is very clean and well maintained. Staff are always polite and helpful. Breakfast is traditional Turkish style, you can have pancakes and omelettes made for you as well if you ask. The pool bar offers fairly priced food and drinks served with a smile.
The hotel is situated a 5 minute walk from restaurants and bars and a couple more minutes to the edge of the Dalyan river where you can get a public boat to Iztuzu turtle beach for about £7 per person. There are also the Kaunas ruins that can be accessed via a rowing boat which cost about £1 per person. The rock tombs can be seen from most of the bars and restaurants along the riverside also.
Dalyan is a beautiful place and quieter and more traditional than many other areas nearby. I much prefer Dalyan to any other area in Turkey and I have visited the country over 15 times now.
All in all a fantastic place to stay, would highly recommend and I’m sure we will stay again in a few years time.
