Lalila Blue Suites

We took my son, daughter and daughter's friend for 10 days at the beginning of August and had a great time. The hotel is great and the restaurant, bar and entertainment staff fantastic. As there were 5 of us we had 2 rooms and both were very clean on arrival and then cleaned well every day, with fresh towels and bottles of water for each guest. My only gripe would be that our triple room had the smallest balcony and, with the air con unit on it was too small to sit on but great for drying things. The food was very good. The range at each mealtime was fantastic and the staff were very helpful. My daughter is Coeliac and they made her chips specially and got her other things on request. As others have posted, the catering and bar manager Mesut was a true inspiration. He is what I consider to be a great manager, he was constantly on the go, ensuring things were working, in the right place, clean and safe and would 'muck in' with his staff to make sure all this got done. He always had time to say hello and a big smile on his face. He made the effort to come and say goodbye when we were leaving, which was touching. We were all inclusive and found the drinks included to be good. The beer and wines were good and local spirits drinkable. We found out that the upstairs bar did white rum (the downstairs didn't for some reason) and I found this preferable to the vodka, gin or raki. The pool looked bigger in the pictures but was never full. Even when the entertainment staff were holding events in it there was space for you to take a dip to cool off. As with virtually every hotel I've ever stayed at there aren't enough loungers for every guest but we always managed to find some. I was a little surprised that not all the beds were put out in a morning, with the remainder stacked near the bar. Those coming later could then put these in the available spaces, which did cause some issues as they sometimes blocked communal areas. However, staff usually resolved this. Personally, I didn't understand why more weren't put out initially. The entertainment staff were fantastic, particularly Angel and Joey. They were so friendly and were great at getting people to join in the games and make them fun.
The evening entertainment shows were also very good and we only ventured out for 2 nights (one of which was the Monday when there was no show). As we stayed over 7 days we got a complementary meal at the a la carte restaurant. I had one of the best steaks I've had in a long time and none of us had room for the dessert after the prior 3 courses. We all enjoyed the food and the service was great. I would recommend this hotel. We had a great time and met loads of really nice people there.

My fiancée and I stayed for a week at Lalila Blue Suites, and what a place — all-inclusive!

It is located in the middle of the Marmaris strip, with loads going on around it, including restaurants, shops, bars, and the beach just a few corners away. It was very lively in the evenings, so if you wanted a wild night on the strip, you could certainly have one. We also had a day out in Rhodes. It was a short transfer to Marmaris Port, where you can get a 45-minute boat to Rhodes. We really enjoyed this as it helped mix up our week.

Our room was a perfect size and had everything we wanted. The room was cleaned every day, including fresh towels, which I thought was fantastic. Although our balcony faced the busy main road, this did not bother us at all. It was loud at times, but you expect that given the location we were in. The only thing I would say is that the room was lacking plug sockets, particularly near the bed. Our air conditioning unit was also being a bit of a pain, but we worked out that you just needed to open and close the balcony door again. Once the air con was on, though, it was great.

The facilities the hotel had were second to none. It had a pool, snack bar, poolside bar, gym, indoor pool with sauna, and treatment rooms. It also had a jeweller's and a hairdresser/barber shop. If you needed anything, you could speak with the guest relations desk during the day. For us, this included booking the hotel restaurant for our last night and also booking one of their more premium sunbeds. Overall, the pool was a good size and was popular with everyone, particularly when it got hot. It had a good sound system, so there was no need to bring your headphones as it created a great atmosphere. The only downside is that you need to get down to the poolside at 7am if you want to guarantee a sunbed. At least half of them would be taken before this, despite the hotel saying that no towels should be laid down before 7am. If you spoke with the workers, they would always do their best to sort you out with one.

The food, in our opinion, was great — breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. Everything seemed to be very fresh, including the meat and fish dishes. There were different themes every night, including Indian, Sunday roast, and Mexican. There was also a salad bar with different varieties of bulgur, yoghurt dips, and salsas, which we thought were great. I would say it could do with more variety of dishes each night, particularly at lunchtime, but this did not bother us. I know other people we spoke to mentioned this, though. If you didn't want to go to the restaurant during lunchtime, you could have food beside the pool snack bar instead, as there were plenty of options available there.

The restaurant and bar staff were very attentive, including clearing your plates and offering you new drinks, even though you could get them yourself. The workers at the bar were always serving you with a smile and were overall really nice people. If you have stayed here, you will know about the guy called Mesut. I would call him a legend, if you ask me. He is the catering manager at the hotel. Every time you saw him, he would greet you, fist-bump you, and take the time to speak with you. I have added a picture of the two of us. He is one of the nicest people I have met while on holiday, so I hope you get to read this review, Mesut, and thank you for everything you have done. It is clear that he has a great work ethic and has built a fantastic workforce around him. The entertainment team, both during the day and in the evening, were spot on. Shout-outs to Joey, JayJay, and Angel. They were the best entertainment team at any resort we have been to. They were so friendly, would get to know your name and speak with you on a personal level which I thought was a great touch. They had games happening throughout the day, including darts, aqua gym, and pool games such as water polo and water volleyball. This was all done in great spirit, even though it may have got competitive at times (including me!). The evening entertainment was also very good, including karaoke, a white party, a circus event, and dancing. There was bingo most nights, but I didn't have much luck with that!

Everything about Lalila Blue is out of this world. We have been regulars here since 2019 and absolutely love this hotel, the rooms are fantastic, the staff are amazing, the food is delicious, the drinks are lovely, the whole place just exudes class.
