Yel Holiday Resort — Summer 2026 🌞🇹🇷
We’ve had an amazing time at Yel this summer and honestly can’t thank all the staff enough for making our holiday so enjoyable! ❤️
🌟 Reception – Always helpful, but a special mention has to go to Ozan, who went above and beyond for our family. Nothing was too much trouble!
🎉 Entertainment team – So friendly, helpful and always trying to get everyone involved and feel welcome. They really do make the atmosphere at Yel what it is!
🍹 Bar staff – Ennes and Mohammed are the best! 😂 After day two they already knew our drink orders and always served us with a smile. Absolute stars!
🍽️ Restaurant & kitchen staff – So efficient and friendly. Your plates are cleared quickly, and the chef actually comes out, talks to you and checks that you’re enjoying your food.
🍳 Breakfast chef – What a lovely, friendly guy! Cooking in that heat every morning and still doing it with a smile. 👏
🧹 Housekeeping – Friendly staff, lovely clean rooms and the communal areas are always spotless.
🏊♂️ A massive shout-out to the pool man! He works tirelessly every day. If you can’t find a sunbed, he’ll find you one! A genuinely lovely man who works so hard. ❤️
🥤 Drinks – The only downside for me was that the only diet option was Coke. As I’m diabetic, I just bought some other drinks from the shop downstairs, so it wasn’t a major issue.
🍴 Food – Good variety and there was always something to eat. Snack time was definitely my favourite! 😂
🎟️ Excursions – If you’re looking to book excursions, contact Seren Travelagency on Facebook. He comes directly to the hotel, sells you the tickets there, offers very fair prices and is a really nice guy. We booked the jeep safari and waterpark, both of which were brilliant. We would definitely have booked more if we’d had more time!
Overall, we’ve had such a fantastic holiday and met so many lovely people. Yel really does feel like a home from home, and we’ll definitely be back! ❤️🇹🇷
Thank you to every single member of staff for making our summer so memorable! 🌞
Googled the hotel and was a little unsure what to expect as its on the side of a mountain, its a little bit out of town but go out the back entrance and cross the road. Press the taxi button and the taxi arrives in less than 5 mins. What a great suprise to find this little gem. The hotel staff are really friendly and helpful. The entertainment team were amazing ! Gadget and Gizmo created a great atmosphere all day and night. Rooms were nothing special but we weren't going to spend much time in the room as we are on holiday air con, fridge. Beds are comfortable. Only downside was you had to pay for the safe in your room. The food was really good and great variety The place was really clean and cant be faulted really good value for money.
Loved my stay at Yel. A small, chilled hotel with plenty to do. Positives: Small so you get to know everyone Sunbeds not a problem- I got up at 8 and there were plenty to have- no mad queues Gizmo and Gadget (entertainment team) were fab! Enes and Mohammed on the bar were amazing There were no big queues for food or the bar etc Food was nice - smaller range than some places but as a vegetarian I always had something to eat. Soups and salads delicious. Drinks- beer is nice. Their version of Malibu is nice. Would have been good to have more cocktails. Try the baileys coffee! Rooms were clean Location good- easy to get the dolmus to hissarano
Negatives: Rooms are tiny for three people. We put suitcases on the balcony! Food I liked but some complained that it was chicken and rice everyday! Reception staff not the friendliest compared to the other lovely staff Night entertainment - some days was just bingo which you pay for. Would have been good to have a singer or act every night.
Overall I had a brilliant time and am looking to book again for next year as I miss it so much!!!
Amazing experience for the second year running. Great food and drinks and even better entertainment by Gadget and Gizmo. Would recommend to anyone. Wide range of activities available, such as a gym, pool, darts, swimming pool, nighttime entertainment etc.
I a female stayed at this hotel with my 13-year-old daughter and really enjoyed our stay. I was a little worried at first as it’s only a 3-star hotel, but I booked it because of the fantastic 4.5 rating on Tripadvisor — and I’m so glad I did!
The rooms are a little outdated, but I actually liked the authentic feel. Everything was absolutely spotless, including the rooms, pool area and the hotel itself.
The food was good, with a nice variety of both English and Turkish dishes. I’ve seen people complain that the food is repetitive, but I think that’s the case with most all-inclusive hotels. This is one of the reasons we only booked for 5 days, as I think that’s the perfect length of stay.
The water slide is only open twice a day and the ice cream counter is open once, but personally I think this is more than enough. The kids seem to appreciate it more when it’s not available all day!
We also used the free shuttle bus to Billy’s Beach. It cost 500 TL each, which included entry to the private beach area, sun loungers and a parasol. The beach was clean, and you could either have food and drinks brought directly to your sunbed or sit in the bar/café area. The food was lovely and reasonably priced — and the Piña Colada cream cocktail is a MUST! 🍹
The entertainment was okay while we were there, although we seemed to have missed some of the better nights, such as the belly dancing and reggae-themed night.
We paid £30 for a late check-out, which was definitely worth it as it gave us an extra morning and afternoon by the pool. Even after checking out, we were allowed to keep our wristbands, which was a great bonus as we didn’t leave for the airport until 8pm.
I also noticed that some of the issues people had previously mentioned in reviews appeared to have been acknowledged and addressed, which was reassuring.
My only real gripes were that pool towels aren’t provided and, at times, there was a smell from the bathroom drainage. We simply bought an air freshener from the shop downstairs and used the microfibre towels we had brought with us for the beach. They were easy to wash in the room and dried quickly, so it wasn’t a major issue. Perhaps not providing towels is one of the ways the hotel keeps its costs down.
There are also bunnies and turtles around the hotel, which my daughter loved — a lovely little touch for children. 🐢🐰
And the views are absolutely amazing! 😍
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re looking for somewhere affordable, clean and relaxed. We had a lovely holiday and felt that we got great value for money.
