This ideally located beach hotel is situated on Long Beach, approximately 7km from the tourist centre of Kusadasi with its scores of shops, boutiques, cafés, bars, restaurants and nightclubs. The nearest airport is 87km from the hotel. Public transport links are located directly in front of the hotel's entrance. The resort was built in 1989 and has been fully renovated in winter 2010/11. The newly refurbished rooms are decorated in cooling, muted tones and come with a private bathroom. Some have direct access to the outdoor complex. The hotel has a half-Olympic sized outdoor pool and separate pool with a waterslide as well as 2 children's pools. The SPA centre offers various treatments for thorough relaxation. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy a variety of land and water-based activities.
We arrived at around 1am, and received our 3 room keys. Unfortunately only one had the balcony we booked for. They stated to come back at midday and they would sort the rooms out. Whilst waiting, 2 other families told us they had been waiting 3 and 4 days to get their balcony room and said they just get fobbed off every time they asked. Fortunately they were true to their word to us and we were given balcony rooms the next afternoon, but why did we have to wait a day, unable to unpack, for them to allocate the rooms which we booked. The hotel is fantastic, great outdoor pools, reception etc but the biggest let down is the food. Whether breakfast, lunch dinner or snack bars, the food is cold. Even if you turn up when the restaurants open it’s cold except the soup. The hot plates are turned down low, why? There are chefs walking around, we tried to explain but their English was as good as our Turkish. If you run your hands over the glass topped food trays very few are above room temperature. I and a few others started unlocking the temperature setting and turning them up. After only 3 days our family of 7 were already depressed due to the food temperature. Mustafa from Casablanca hung around the hotel each morning picking up disgruntled guests for meals at his family restaurant. We went once and it was packed, many guests going multiple times per week, good value for money and hot. I just cannot comprehend the reason behind the hotel’s obvious decision to serve cold food. The kids disco, for under 8’s?, starts at 9.30 at the earliest and the main entertainment starts at 10.15, far too late. Although the hotel has had a revamp the hotel lifts are extremely small, 2 of them per block, maximum 4 small people each, for the 6 floors. The warm pool has a dangerous last step probably 2 1/2 feet, very disconcerting the first time. We have been to many different resorts in Turkey, the staff are usually very fluent in English, not so much here, whether that is due to Jet2 just renewing who knows. Apparently this is the first year back with Jet2 after losing their partnership 5 years previously, I’m would be very surprised if they renew for another year.

We are just home from an 8 night stay in Batihan Resort Hotel. We had a wonderful time. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was perfect. The receptionists are efficient and polite and very helpful.The rooms are spacious and the beds comfy. We were in a basic room so we didn’t have any pool view but it didn’t bother us. The food in the restaurant is varied and plentiful. We had one meal in The Steak House and the steaks were so good and the food and service wonderful. The animation team work so hard. They are smiling and good fun always. Fun times and games were organised for all ages and we enjoyed great laughs. The night entertainment was varied and so good….the fire show was stand out spectacular. The Lobby Bar is good fun…great cocktails , beers and spirits served by pleasant staff in comfortable ,refurbished surrounding. The only fault we found was at the swimming pool snack bars. The food is plentiful but cold. Burgers , chips, pasta, churros, pizza-like slices all sit for too long (hours) in serving dishes. Some days there were second dishes of cooked burgers and chips gone cold waiting to be served after the first lot were consumed. It’s an issue that needs to be addressed because it’s a very unhealthy option. The swimming pools are fabulous…one heated , 2 adult and one children’s pool. The slides are great fun too. If the snack bar issues were answered and the hot food properly served I would gladly give Batihan Resort Hotel 5 stars but the snack bar situation is a health hazard and downright dangerous and for everything else I give 4 stars.
Absolutely brilliant stay at Batihan
We’ve had an absolutely fantastic stay at Batihan Beach Resort & Spa. From the moment we arrived, the staff have been incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful. Nothing ever feels like too much trouble, and there’s a genuinely warm atmosphere throughout the hotel.
The resort itself is beautiful and very well looked after. The pools, beach and surrounding grounds are lovely, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and there’s plenty to do without the place feeling overly hectic. The food has also been excellent, with loads of choice throughout our stay.
What has stood out most, though, is the staff. The level of service has been brilliant and they really do work hard to make sure everyone is enjoying themselves. That makes such a difference to a holiday.
We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily come back. Batihan has definitely exceeded our expectations and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, enjoyable stay in Kuşadası.

Hotel was fine, going by reviews was second guessing our booking but it was fine staff where lovely pool activities where good fun thanks to staff, easy to get a sun bed. Food wasn’t to my liking always found something! ate out a few times but always do when on holiday, had a lovely massage. Totally recommend going to beach to watch sun set it’s stunning!!
