Palmin Hotel

Just home from 11 nights at the Palmin, we were a family of 7. The rooms are lovely spacious. We asked for pool view & our 3 rooms close together, which we got when we checked in. The staff couldn't do enough for us. From the reception, cleaners, life guards, pool staff, entertainment, pool bar, restaurant, snack bar & off course Dogan. He served us drinks at night & greeted us every morning before he finished his shift. He is so friendly & an asset to the hotel. All the staff work so hard. We had a great holiday. Most of our days were spent around the pool. Hotel location is perfect, close to ladies beach & centrum, 6e in a taxi. The Dolmus & taxi's are so easy to get you around.The security staff very helpful & always smiling. My only complaint is the food. Not for fussy eaters. Breakfast was okay, omelettes were good, thanks to the omelette chef. No nice pastries for breakfast. Dinner wasn't good & cakes were poor selection. The overall quality of food was cheap & poor & missing labels. Fish wasn't good. We stuck to beer, chips, rice & boiled veg. The cocktails & wine were terrible. We had to eat out a few nights. I was in Kusadasi 15 years ago & its expensive to eat out now, restaurants are lovely & worth it. So bring extra money for eating out. We would definitely return to the Palmin next year. But not in August, got really busy before we left with local tourists who were quite rude. Thanks Palmin & all the staff. See you next year

Kursad the restaurant manager is horrible. He is needlessly rude. We had 3 separate incidents with him. He actually ruined the hotel experience for us. Displayed disrespect. Rest of staff lovely and so helpful and respectful. Pool staff were amazing.

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Money

Unfortunately, my experience at Palmin Hotel was very disappointing. The hotel is extremely noisy, mainly because of the animation activities and other guests. Since the property is relatively small, the noise can be heard throughout the hotel, even in different rooms. Changing rooms does not really solve the problem.

I also found the overall quality and condition of the facilities below what I expected based on the hotel’s presentation and the price I paid.

I contacted the hotel and Booking.com to explain the situation. I requested either a cancellation, a change of dates, or a voucher to use the reservation at another time, but all of these options were refused.

I understand that hotels have entertainment and activities, but guests should also be able to rest and have a comfortable stay. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

For the price, I expected a much better level of quality and comfort. I would not choose this hotel again.
