Pine Bay Holiday Resort

A great family resort! This was our first all inclusive holiday experience with our 3 children aged 10,14 & 15. We all loved it!

The resort is not too busy as it is spread out over a wide area. Half of the resort is quiet and the other half is more lively, this means everyone gets what they need.

The children were able to have some independence, going off to get ice cream or go on the slides which they enjoyed.

The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help.

The food was varied with new options each day.

The entertainment team were enthusiastic and great with the children. The entertainment was varied and high quality.

We stayed in a family bungalow (club room). It was a good size and had all we needed but was a bit tired. Clean but the bathroom was a bit old. However nothing that spoilt the holiday for us.

The spa was great! Highly recommend a Turkish bath and massage.

The resort was clean and tidy and had plenty of sun beds.

Highly recommend a day or half day at the harbour. Lots of fish, very quiet and food and drink available.

The jet2 boat trip was great and very well priced. Just be aware that only some of the drinks are included in the price so be careful when you order.

We’ve just returned from an absolutely wonderful family holiday at Pine Bay, and we would love to return!

Our room was spacious and cleaned daily. The beds weren’t the comfiest we’ve ever slept in, but they were absolutely fine. We were right at the bottom of the hill, which we were actually very grateful for, as walking uphill in the heat was hard work! The resort is huge, but that’s part of what makes the setting so spectacular.

The temperature while we were there was perfect — hot, but it never felt oppressive thanks to the lovely sea breeze.

The buffet food was good and varied, although it did get very busy at peak times. The desserts were delicious, and the free ice cream available for most of the day was a huge hit! The poolside snacks were brilliant too, and the kids loved being able to grab burgers, pizza, waffles and jacket potatoes throughout the day.

The beach is absolutely beautiful and the snack bar there was lovely. We also tried two of the à la carte restaurants and were genuinely impressed. The Greek restaurant has a gorgeous setting right on the beach, and the Italian was incredible — the standard of food was fantastic.

All of the staff we encountered were friendly, helpful and lovely. The drinks were great too, and the frozen daiquiri from the Sunset Bar was a particular favourite!

The pools and slides were amazing for the kids, and the lifeguards were attentive, helpful and observant. We went down around 7am to make sure we could get sunbeds in the shade, but plenty of people didn’t arrive until around 8:30am and were still able to find beds.

One thing we particularly appreciated was that there wasn’t the constant upselling you sometimes experience at resorts. It made the whole holiday feel much more relaxed.

Unfortunately, our son had an accident on the slides during our stay, splitting his lip and badly damaging two teeth. I genuinely cannot thank the lifeguards and hotel staff enough for how they dealt with everything. They arranged medical and dental treatment incredibly quickly, explained everything clearly and looked after us throughout. We were back at the hotel within around three hours of the accident, having had stitches and dental work completed. The service and care we received were absolutely amazing, especially during what was obviously a very stressful situation for us.

Overall, Pine Bay gave us an absolutely fantastic family holiday. The beautiful setting, amazing pools and slides, great food, lovely staff and relaxed atmosphere made it somewhere we would happily recommend.

It was a good hotel, but the service and room cleanliness were terrible. It is very disappointing for such a good hotel.
