Best resort in Maldives of the 3 we visited

We just returned from an absolutely fabulous holiday at AMILLA. The resort offered everything we were hoping for and beyond. The staff were all super warm and went out of their way to make our stay special. The manta ray excursion was something we will never forget. The food was very delicious and ample for half board. The coco themed Halloween was meticulously planned and my daughter had the best time! Highly recommend this resort to anyone!

The best holiday ever!

I have to write agin as I thought I missed some important facts, and special people, 

This marks our fifth trip to the Maldives and our first stay at Amilla. Previously, we have enjoyed the hospitality of Anantara Kihavah, Joali Being, Hilton Rangali, and Four Seasons Kuda Huraa, all of which provided excellent customer service typical of five-star resorts. From our arrival at the airport to our transfer to the resort, every detail was carefully arranged, allowing us to unwind without any worries. Upon reaching the island, we immediately sensed its unique charm, characterized by lush greenery and a natural ambiance. Our butler, Buddy, played a crucial role in organizing our excursions, particularly our quest to see manta rays. Despite the unpredictable behavior of these creatures, Buddy's expertise ensured we had an unforgettable experience, encountering over 150 manta rays and two whale sharks. He remained accessible throughout our stay via WhatsApp, assisting with transportation and itinerary updates to ensure we didn't miss any activities. He also accompanied us on one of our trips, Buddy shared fascinating insights into marine life, enhancing our appreciation for the underwater world. Our guide, Sotti, was equally impressive, prioritizing our safety despite our swimming proficiency. Beyond activities, the resort boasts four exceptional restaurants, with the Japanese venue standing out for its must-try fresh tuna. The staff, including Yasuda and Murey, consistently provided attentive service, enriching our dining experiences. Overall, Amilla is a family-friendly resort offering a range of villas from one to eight bedrooms, which piqued our curiosity to explore. so buddy showed us all of them, they are very spacious and well designed, Additionally, the spa at Amilla stands out for its serene setting amidst the island's natural beauty. Unlike other resorts, it offers a tranquil atmosphere, enhanced by the presence of lush wildlife. Our therapist, Ratna, demonstrated exceptional professionalism and expertise during our treatments. The island itself is a stunning natural paradise, featuring magnificent banyan trees and unique wildlife, including the long-tailed birds that nest here. It’s charming to observe these birds, particularly a nest located near the spa where we often see a mother and her adorable chicks. Overall, we are thrilled with our choice of Amilla for our holiday and hope to return with our children next year.

Best holiday

This is our first time in Maldives for vacation. We stayed in Amilla for nine days from November 2rd. Surprisingly, Amilla fulfills all our fantasies as a vacation island: 
(1)the infrastructure is good and sufficient, and its layout is compact and convenient(easy to reach with a bike); 
(2)the service is considerate and people here are super nice and are always ready for conversations; 
(3)the biological environment is perfect: the island has a great view of the reef and sunset, and it is a perfect place for snorkelling; also we can connect with a number of marine creatures and lives on land. Amazing!
(4)the activities there are diverse and  great fun! We can find unique experiences, nature walks, cooking classes and fun for kids, and we never get bored. 

We get to know a lot of friendly people here and we want to extend our special thanks to: our butler Asad for his considerate arrangements and clear communication, Kauser for his wonderful photos, Marvith for his exciting cocktail class, Ranjith for the colorful painting class, Luiza for the amazing nature class, Sabo, Shahbaj for their friendliness, and the housekeeper for his good service.

We will recommend Amilla to our family and friends, and hopefully we will meet on Maldivian beach again sometime.

A romantic honey moon vacation

Stayed in the Halloween week and the resort was superb.  Lots of themed activities for the kids and lots of accomodation for the older children to join in with activities such as snorkling.  Yamin on the snorkeling trips was absolutely superb at looking after kids and generally being a superb guide - we saw turtles, sharks, dolphins, squid and many others.  A complete mystery why there often was no one else on those trips and we effectively had them as private trips. Fira looked after us generally and was a tremedous help in keeping our complex schedule of bookings in place or updated, and even organising bespoke opportunities to crack open coconuts for our kids.  We stayed in a Treetop villa and it was perfect for our family, and close to everything.  Finally what really struck us was that the food generally was superb, and that included for the kids, which is often not the case.
