Everything at Veli was simply perfect. The ocean, the room, the food, and the service were all absolutely wonderful. A special shoutout to our butler, Faz—she always went above and beyond, giving us even more than we asked for. She is truly the friendliest and most dedicated person we’ve ever met.We will definetely come back!

First, please accept our sincere (and very delayed!) apologies for not posting this sooner. Since returning, not a day goes by where we don't think about our magical 10-night stay back in May 2026. Our 30th wedding anniversary was literally a dream come true, and we owe a massive thank you to Resort Manager David Caille, Director of Culinary Francis, and the entire phenomenal team at Anantara Veli and Dhigu Maldives Resort. Here are just a few of the memories we will cherish forever: 🌟 The Villa & Mother Nature's Canvas We stayed in a gorgeous Beach Villa with a private pool, which was our own little sanctuary. While the weather was a bit windy during our stay, it only added to the drama of the landscape. We were blessed with two absolutely breathtaking sunsets, and we fell in love with how the pristine turquoise lagoon practically glowed with a vibrant, otherworldly light right before the tropical downpours. It made for the most spectacular, artistic photos we have ever taken! 🍽️ Culinary Masterpieces & First-Time Experiences The dining at the resort's many restaurants was exceptional, but two culinary highlights truly stole the show: The Wine Tasting & Michelin Dinner: We deeply appreciate Francis for organizing an exquisite wine tasting experience and extending a special invitation to the Michelin dinner. It was world-class at its finest. Our First Teppanyaki Experience: We had never experienced Teppanyaki before, and we are so glad our first time was here! The chef was incredible, the fire show was spectacularly entertaining, and the food was absolute first-class quality. 🍹 Exceptional Hospitality & Milestone Touches What truly sets Anantara Veli apart is its people. David went completely out of his way to ensure we were comfortable, pampered, and thoroughly impressed—and impress us he did! The entire staff blew us away with their: Warmth and Care: Every single team member was outstanding, professional, and efficient. Thoughtful Gestures: From the sweet milestone touches celebrating our 30 years together to the constant, flawless flow of Cosmopolitans and Pina Coladas, they made us feel like royalty. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, David, Francis, and your incredible crew, at both Veli and Dhigu for an outstanding 10 nights in true paradise. You turned our milestone anniversary into a masterpiece we will never forget!
