This was our third time in the Maldives and first time at Canareef. This place was amazing. Our villa (sunset side)713, was lovely. Big and clean and perfect location for the beech bar and restaurant . Our arrival (a day late thanks to BA, was great,a musical welcome for just us two,everything explained about the island although we had researched it before. The restaurant, only one was open due to a refit. The food was plentiful and tasted great. The restaurant staff worked so hard from the chefs to waiters always catering for us. 10/10. The bars and pools were beautiful/spotlessly clean and again staff amazing. The buggie service was such blessing as the island is big. The beeches and gardens were well maintained by the gardeners /maintenance although felt so sorry for them in this heat but they were very respectful while around us when working. Over all this place has no faults that we could think of. A very relaxed place with a mix of respectable people just wanting a quiet holiday. The cats aren’t a problem either only a few minding their own business. We visited the local island. Not a lot to do but a great culture experience. We just walked around and got a cold drink at a cafe. We were about two hours. A big shout out to three members of staff who made it even better.- Nylan who worked in the restaurant. Manjula who was the life guard/beech maintenance/who had so much enthusiasm for the sea life educating us and taking us out to see it. (Especially as my partner can’t swim well).
Pramila- Who worked at the bar and waitress, sweet and friendly. To be honest every single member of staff was so nice. Well done Canareef. We will be back.
Beyond Expectations – Thank You, Canareef Resort Maldives
We had a wonderful experience staying at Canareef Resort Maldives. We've visited several times before, but this stay was especially memorable because of the exceptional hospitality. A special thanks to Deepak Sir for making my birthday so special. The team arranged a beautiful surprise birthday decoration in our room with a cake and wine, and they also specially arranged a dinner table for us. Everything was a complete surprise and made the celebration truly unforgettable. We sincerely thank all the staff for their efforts and warm hospitality. Every staff member was kind, friendly, and always ready to help throughout our stay. We truly appreciate the excellent service and look forward to visiting Canareef Resort Maldives again.
A Truly Special and Memorable Stay
Our experience was truly special. Every member of staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and dedicated. It was impossible to choose just one person to highlight, as everyone contributed to making us feel very welcome and special throughout our stay.
We absolutely loved the room upgrade and all the thoughtful touches prepared for us to celebrate our wedding anniversary. These kind gestures made our stay even more memorable.
The island is beautiful, very peaceful, and perfect for relaxing. The whole atmosphere is wonderful and gives a great sense of tranquillity.
As constructive feedback, there are only two aspects that, in our opinion, could be improved. The bed sheets were slightly rough and could have been softer and more comfortable.
Regarding the buffet, the food was good and varied, especially for adults who enjoy different flavours and seasonings. However, for children or guests who are less used to stronger spices, it might be helpful to always have a small selection of simpler options available, such as pizza, spaghetti Bolognese, French fries, or chicken nuggets. We believe this would be a very welcome improvement for families travelling with children.
Overall, we loved our experience and are taking home many wonderful memories. Thank you very much to the entire team for making us feel so special and so warmly welcomed.
An unforgettable vacation
From the moment my daughter Aisa and I arrived at Canareef Resort, we felt genuinely welcomed. We have stayed in many beautiful places over the years, but very few have made us feel as valued and cared for as Canareef.
Our Premium Villa was spacious, beautifully maintained, and perfect for a relaxing holiday. Waking up just a few steps from the ocean every morning was unforgettable.
We also loved the beach bar. The relaxed atmosphere, excellent drinks, and breathtaking sunsets made it one of our favourite places on the island.
The all-inclusive restaurant exceeded our expectations. We especially appreciated that the menu changed every day, so there was always something new and delicious to try. The quality and variety of the food were excellent throughout our stay.
A heartfelt thank you to Manjula, the lifeguard, for his kindness and professionalism, and to Haaid, our buggy driver, whose cheerful attitude and friendly conversations always brightened our day.
Our deepest gratitude goes to Sherzod, whose outstanding hospitality, thoughtful surprises, and attention to every detail made this holiday truly exceptional. Thanks to him, Aisa and I felt genuinely welcome and special throughout our stay.
What makes Canareef truly stand out is its people. Every member of the team treated us with warmth and genuine care, making this one of the most memorable holidays we have ever had.

Canareef Maldives: Pure Paradise in Addu City!
My wife and I stayed here to celebrate her birthday in advance, and we couldn't be happier! The resort went above and beyond with so many wonderful surprises for her.
Service & Management: The entire staff was excellent, and the GM, Mr. Deepak, personally ensures every single guest is well taken care of.
Resort & Atmosphere: The property is huge with plenty of places to explore. It strikes the perfect balance between a peaceful, calm atmosphere and great spaces for fun and celebration.
Rooms: Very spacious and fully equipped. The Jacuzzi added an extra touch of luxury and perfect privacy.
Canareef Resort is 100% worth the money. Highly recommended for anyone looking for exceptional hospitality in a tropical paradise!
