Cocoon Maldives is the epitome of barefoot luxury. The Octopus Restaurant serves international buffet meals with live cooking stations, while Manta Restaurant offers à la carte fine dining in a romantic lagoon setting. For something unique, the Japanese Garden delivers authentic Japanese flavors in a rustic, tropical setting. There are also two bars: Loabi Loabi Pool Bar, perfect for social evenings, and Kurum-Bar, ideal for relaxed sunset drinks.
Guests can unwind by the resort’s outdoor swimming pool or indulge in treatments at The Spa, which features a sauna, steam room, outdoor spa tub, and a variety of therapies from around the world. The resort also offers a PADI-certified dive centre, a range of water sports, and a fully equipped indoor and outdoor gym. Daily activities include yoga, pilates, aqua aerobics, along with live entertainment and cultural shows.
Beach Villas offer stunning views of the ocean and come with a flat-screen TV, minibar, tea/coffee making facilities, sitting area, telephone, and complimentary Wi-Fi. The open-plan bathrooms feature a shower, WC with bidet, and double vanities, all within a stylish, air-conditioned space. For added indulgence, guests can upgrade to a Beach Suite with Plunge Pool or a Lagoon Suite with Jacuzzi.

The Cocoon Maldives is the epitome of paradise. The resort is a scenic, 30-minute seaplane journey from Velana International Airport in Male. The property lies on the island of Ookolhufinolhu and is surrounded by white sandy beaches.
I’m not usually someone who writes online reviews, even after a wonderful stay. I tend to want to keep the places I love a little bit to myself, so they don’t become too crowded. But I’m making an exception for Cocoon Maldives, because the whole team truly deserves recognition for the care and professionalism they showed us.
Our stay was a dream from the moment we were welcomed at the airport until our departure and farewell. The team at Cocoon did an outstanding job throughout, and we’d like to offer them our heartfelt thanks.
We haven’t felt this well rested in a long time. That was thanks in no small part to the beautiful surroundings, the resort, and all the people who work there. Everyone seemed to know exactly what to do, and it was clear that making guests feel welcome and comfortable was at the heart of everything.
We stayed in a Beach Villa, which was spacious enough for the three of us. We spent most of our time outdoors, enjoying the direct beach access and the privacy each villa offers. The room was cleaned twice a day, which we really appreciated, and the minibar was replenished daily with the drinks we had requested.
When we arrived on the island, our host, Nappe, welcomed us and shared all the information we needed. He showed us around the resort and took us to our villa. He also gave us his WhatsApp number and was always easy to reach. Whenever we had a request, he arranged it quickly. We especially appreciated that he came by our table each evening to check that everything was all right and ask if there was anything he could do for us. Thank you, Nappe, for everything!
My wife has a food intolerance, so we contacted the resort in advance to ask whether they could accommodate it. This was no problem at all. The chefs checked in with her each day to discuss what they could prepare and how. Our sincere thanks to the entire food and beverage team for taking such thoughtful care of her.
The food was excellent at every meal. There were several live cooking stations, plenty of choice for every taste, and we particularly enjoyed the themed evenings. We don’t think we’ve ever eaten so much delicious fish! The curries were a personal highlight for me.
We’re creatures of habit, so we often sat at the same table and got to know Rashed, our waiter. From the start, he was warm, attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly. Thank you, Rashed, for helping make our holiday so enjoyable. A big thank-you as well to the entire service team, who were always welcoming and attentive. We’re sorry we can’t mention everyone by name, but please know that we appreciated you all.
All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would love to return if we get the chance.

Loved every single minute we spent on cocoon island. Couldn’t have wished for any better place for our honeymoon. The people the land the water the food everything is just so magical. Our island host Adda is one in a million. Always made sure we were happy, content, safe and at peace for the very short time we were on the island. I would recommend everyone to definitely once come and give this place a try and look for Adda for your assistance. Adda is not only a host he is a safe place a friend and a person just like us. We all live in a world with feelings please do treat these people like your own they’re amazing amazing people.
Absolutely fantastic holiday at Cocoon Maldives!! Everything was so clean and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Food was out of this world and such a good choice. Nappe was our host and he couldn’t do enough for us, from beginning to the end nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely return ☀️

We had an absolutely amazing 9-night stay at Cocoon Maldives, and it was truly an unforgettable experience for our family! From the beautiful surroundings to the excellent hospitality, everything made our holiday special.
We spent 6 nights in a Beach Villa and 3 nights in a Lagoon Villa, and both rooms were absolutely perfect. Each villa offered a unique and beautiful experience, with comfort, luxury, and stunning surroundings. Our daughter loved both villas, which made our stay even more memorable. We couldn't have asked for a better place to relax and enjoy quality family time.
A special thank you to our wonderful island host, Migu, who made our stay even more enjoyable. He was always helpful, attentive, and ready to assist whenever we needed anything. No matter what our requests were, Migu was always there to help with a warm and friendly attitude. His excellent service and care made us feel truly welcomed and looked after throughout our stay.
Cocoon Maldives is the perfect destination for a relaxing family holiday, offering beautiful villas, a stunning island atmosphere, and outstanding hospitality. We created so many wonderful memories here, and leaving was genuinely difficult.
