Constance Moofushi Maldives

We visited Constance Moofushi for two weeks in May 2025. It was so great we returned in May 2026 for another 2 week trip only to find it was even better. The staff here are wonderful and you feel very welcome like a guest on your own private island. Special thanks to Luty and Bertram for checking throughout our stay to see how things were going. It’s paradise just barefoot having wonderful breakfast on the sand, spending the day laying around the beach, dipping in the water and observing the wildlife. Lunch at Totem is great and dinners spent on the beach choosing from the best buffet you could wish for. The wine list is extensive - what a joy! Rooms are spotlessly clean and your every wish is anticipated. We have just booked our third trip for May 2027 and cannot wait to arrive once more. We've just come back from our sixth stay at Constance Moofushi, and it remains, without question, our favourite place in the world. The resort is stunning — pristine white sand, impossibly clear warm water, and snorkelling reefs just a short swim from shore where turtles and incredible marine life are simply part of the scenery. But what keeps drawing us back, time and again, is the people. From the moment you step off the boat and sink your feet into the sand, you're welcomed like family. It was wonderful to meet Bertrand, the new GM, whose warmth sets the tone for the entire resort. That feeling flows through every single department — front of house, food and beverage, housekeeping, the gardening team — everyone works together with a quiet harmony that makes the service feel effortless and genuinely personal. For wine lovers, this place is a revelation. The all-inclusive list runs to over 125 labels, and the sommelier team — led by Madu who was away but the rest of the team filled in more than capably — have a gift for reading your palate and pairing wines you'd never have thought to choose yourself. We handed over all decisions to them and were delighted every single time. Their philosophy of "drink the wine, not the label" is one we've fully adopted. We have to give a special call out to Koko and Aime! The food deserves its own mention. Mohan, the executive chef, leads a team that somehow conjures an extraordinary variety of dishes on a tiny island — fresh salads, artisan cheeses, homemade ice cream (thank you to Chef Priyantha Don) — the spread at Manta Restaurant has to be seen to be believed. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Many of the team live on the island year-round, and you feel that sense of belonging and pride in what they do. Constance Moofushi exceeded all our expectations. We picked it for our honeymoon, which couldn't have been more special. Every detail was well-thought, service always impecable and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The island is stunning, with a great house reef, the facilities exceptional and accessible; we tried several excursions and experiences with the Blue Tribe team and all were great - from swimming with turtles and nurse sharks with Mauro and his incredible team to our memorable first ever scuba diving lesson with Stefano. The restaurants and bars were also exceptional, with a curated menu, different every day, and a vast selection of drinks and wine. Expect fresh ingredients, live cooking and personalised suggestions based on your taste and preferences. What truly stood out for us was that all the staff took incredible care of us and to make our honeymoon experience everything we dreamed of and more. We couldn't recommend Constance Moofushi more!
