Located on the outskirts of North Ari Atoll, Gangehi Island is a small luxury resort reached within 25 minutes by seaplane. This secluded peaceful island has lush vegetation; on one side it is bordered by a coral reef close to the shore, on the other it opens into a broad lagoon. Protected by its barrier reef, the island is a pearl of white sand, shaded by coconut palms and surrounded by crystal-clear sea. The marine life is one of rare beauty: an amazing variety of tropical fish in all shapes and sizes swim around colourful corals along with marine turtles and sharks in Gangehi lagoon you have the opportunity to enjoy encounters with dolphins and the majestic manta rays.

Pure relaxation in Paradise
First of all, the island itself is beautiful. We had a fantastic time at the Resort; the overwater bungalow exceeded all our expectations in terms of both comfort, and aesthetics. The food was excellent, enhanced with flavors of Italian cuisine. Every single staff member is incredibly kind, the atmosphere was wonderful. I also recommend the snorkeling programs—overall, we were able to relax completely. We would definitely return here.
Simply the best!
The best vacation of my life. The location is gorgeous, very cozy quiet island surrounded by a beautiful reef. Delicious variety of food. Comfortable houses, everything you need. The service was outstanding—professional, friendly, and always helpful , in partiicular Yuri, Delaide, Ilaria. You are jusr tre best!
They give old dollars which are not accepted at the airport
All was very nice except the fact that the lady receptionist gave me old dollars as a change and I couldn‘t pay with them at the airport(( I called the hotel and they didn‘t even try to fix it(
Great Vacation!
Third time in Gangehi Resort, everything is amazing, the resort itself so green and clean, rooms are very spacious and tidy, food so delicious and huge variety, staff very friendly and responsive, Giorgio the manager very humble and hospitable, besides variety of activities upon request.

Highly recommended
This was a last minute booking for us as we had to cancel our trip to Ningaloo Reef due to a cyclone. We definitely made the right choice,, the hotel was beautiful and the service superb. Everyone was so friendly. The sun loungers were comfy, the setting idyllic and the food great. Most of all the diving was excellent and the level of service was first class, they not only set up our tanks but even fitted out fins every time we dived. Shout out to Rano , our dive master who made us feel very comfortable and spotted lots of strange creatures. After dives great home made donuts and cakes accompanied fruit and tea. Really glad we picked Gangeh , would highly recommend.
