A wonderful experience at Heritance Aarah, located about a 40-minute seaplane ride from Malé. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with traditional Maldivian hospitality and immediately felt at home. During our stay, we experienced both the Beach Villa, with direct access to the crystal-clear sea, and the Overwater Villa, which was absolutely spectacular, modern, clean and offered breathtaking ocean views. You can also spot baby sharks and many other fish right from the beach. The food was excellent, especially the buffet, with its traditional Maldivian atmosphere, tables set on the sand, a wide selection of dishes and a different variety every day. The resort also offers many facilities, including a gym, football, padel and badminton courts. The evening atmosphere is equally enjoyable, with music and relaxing moments under the stars. A special thank you to Iru, who looked after us throughout our stay with great professionalism, kindness and availability, always ready to fulfil our requests. The dolphin-watching and sunset excursions aboard a traditional Maldivian Dhoni were also fantastic experiences, both perfectly organised. Highly recommended, especially for couples looking for relaxation, romance, excellent food and outstanding service.
Going to the Maldives has been a bucket list for over 10years and picking Heritance Aarah was the best decision ever. From the time you exit with you are greeted by a staff member who assists you in checking in your bag for the seaplane and escorts you to the resort lounge to wait till your flight. The entire process is seamless and so welcoming. The seaplane its self is amazing and a quick flight where you are given a beautiful welcome with music and dancing.
On arrival we were met at the jetty by our butler Iru and were taken to reception by golf cart. We booked an ocean villa for my husband, daughter and I, it is a breathtaking suite big enough for 3 of us. We booked premium all inclusive for 7 nights and so we got to enjoy the complimentary sunrise, sunset and dolphin cruises. you also get to do night fishing which we skipped. the beach, lagoon, pool are all beautiful and water is wonderful. The gym, indoor games area, kids club are all great entertainment we thoroughly utilized.
Food is fantastic. as vegetarians we were always so happy to see so many choices at Ranba, Ralu and even the vegetarian set menu at Ambula was amazing. All the restaurants go out of their way to make kids happy with personal food choices. Plus the pizzas at Bandi bar are always a hit.
The staff are always happy to help and make every occasion special. We celebrated my daughters birthday and she was treated to gifts, cake, birthday sign on the bed and singing at the various restaurants. Earlier in the month was my husbands birthday and they provided him with celebrations as well as for both of us for our 10th wedding anniversary. Sapna our server at Ambula was amazing and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and enjoy the fine dining experience.
The Chefs, servers at Ranba, Ralu and Bandi bar are absolutely amazing and take the time to remember your drinks, names etc.
7 beautiful nights flew by so quickly but we came back with a lifetime of memories. I hope we get to comeback one day to this beautiful paradise.
