Joy Island

Joy Island is located in North Malé Atoll close from Velana International Airport, reachable by a 40 minutes speedboat transfer. The shape of this beautiful island resembles a butterfly with its wide white sand beach, surrounded by a stunning turquoise lagoon. Joy Island features 151 well-equipped villas including beach villas, and lagoon villas – some of which include your very own private pool!

The island hosts an array of activities and services, ensuring you have everything you need for a perfect getaway. Guests can make use of Joy Islands’ Dream Spa, offering a range of therapeutic treatments and massages, including couple massages with treatment rooms located over the ocean.

Relax by the outdoor swimming pool or take a dip in the crystal blue ocean. You are not short of things to do at Joy Island. The house reef on one side of the island reachable by a short swim. The resort also has a tennis court, a paddle tennis court and a fully-equipped gym. Optional excursions available include daily boat excursions to discover nearby islands and snorkelling in the majestic reefs nearby (excursions are at a fee).

Beach Villas are located on the east side of the island with an amazing sunrise view. Each villa includes a typical open air Maldivian bathroom for an authentic experience.
