Milaidhoo Island Maldives

Utter perfection. The Milaidhoo family is certainly a family… and a generous one at that, welcoming my family and I into their fold. Paul, the general manager, has done a wonderful job at creating a culture of kindness and giving in the team.

We were at Milaidhoo for ten days to celebrate my ‘big’ birthday. Every moment was special. From John, our butler, who was with us from the moment we came off the seaplane to the time we left on one, he did everything in his power to make our days amazing. From arranging diving sessions to dolphins and manta excursions, nothing is too much. Milaidhoo is lucky to have you!

A few shoutouts: Jonathan, our yoga guru, whose energy and smiles sparked joy every morning. I will always remember him when I ‘put my hands together’ for gratitude ☺️. The dive teams, led by Dhombe, who knew his clients even before they do! Thank you for encouraging me to be Nitrox certified and for fitting in my daughter’s unplanned open water course. Raasy, Rikhi, CR, Ayaan and others who made my diving experience a dream with mantas, whale sharks and dolphins… core memory moments. To the dining team, who were so attentive and knew what we wanted and liked at all times. Hyman, Joytsna, Saathi, and the chefs, who not only created beautiful menus but also creatively put together a number of dishes for us based on our likes.

I will be back. This is our third time in the Maldives and we have found our home for the next times we are here.

I can’t believe our vacation is over—it’s so hard to accept this that I didn’t unpack my suitcase for several more days and couldn’t bring myself to write this review. After all, it means putting an end to this trip.

Everything at the Milaidhoo hotel is wonderful: the reef, which is included in the UNESCO list, delicious food, amazing flora and fauna, and a very-very-very high level of service.

Dreams also come true on the Milaidhoo Island. I was lucky enough to have two dreams at once: to see a sea turtle and the Milky Way. So I advise you to pay attention to the sky)

Thank you very much to our butler, John, who was always available and made our vacation comfortable. Thank you to our villa attendant, Yoosuf, who kept our villa clean and left us cute dayly wishes on the bed made of leaves. Thank you very much to the waiters, Hayman and Haabe, for their openness, attention, and positivity. Thank you to the instructor, Martina, who showed patience and special attention during snorkeling with my mom, who can’t swim. Thank you to the General Manager, Paul van Frank, for spending time with the guests.

During our vacation, we visited three hotels, but when people ask me, “How was your vacation?”, I immediately think of Milaidhoo and answer that the vacation was 10000/10. Thank you once again so much to you and your team for the memories that will stay with us for a whole life. The team at the Milaidhoo hotel is truly a family. You are very bright people.   When we left the island, my mom started crying — she had already missed this unforgettable atmosphere so much. This feeling caught up with me only at home, in Moscow.   I really hope I’ll be able to visit the Family again.    With love to the whole team,
