This is a little bit different... You get all the things you'd expect of a great Mauritius holiday - the wonderful weather of course, the beautiful sea views and the laid-back holiday atmosphere - but you also get a fresh, upbeat contemporary edge at the Long Beach Hotel.
Clean white lines and modern furnishings mark the Long Beach Hotel out as one of the most distinctive in Mauritius. It's a wonderful place to stay. Guests' rooms are tastefully presented and Standard Garden View, or Superior Rooms, offer a balcony or terrace. A selection of room upgrades including Seaview and beachfront rooms. At the time of writing, the Long Beach features the single longest and widest stretch of white, sandy coastline of any Mauritian resort.
You'll probably spend a long time there, just enjoying the sun and the rhythm of the blue sea washing on the shore. Snorkelers can prepare themselves for a treat too; those perfect waters are warm and clear - ideal for underwater exploration. There are great opportunities for water sports and sailing too*.
Or if you'd rather just take a relaxing dip, there are three swimming pools and an amazing tropical lagoon for you to enjoy back at the hotel.
Relaxation is after all, a big part of any holiday to Mauritius - so the Long Beach Hotel provides a beautiful spa so that you can really, truly relax. There's a wonderfully secluded entranceway to the spa and some supremely relaxing hanging beds out among the trees.
The Long Beach Hotel is well known for its gastronomic focus too - two bars and five restaurants give you a wealth of choice. From the buffet to the stunning Le Marche breakfast bar, to the opulent Hasu restaurant, dining at the Long Beach Hotels is one of the real treats of staying here.
The Long Beach Hotel looks like a sleek, modern city-centre hotel, but it's been built on the edge of the Indian Ocean, in one of the most beautiful settings in the world.

The Long Beach brings an upbeat urban buzz to the beach resort with its clean white lines and modern furnishings, creating a truly unique & spectacular setting. This hotel boasts the longest and widest stretch of white-sand coastline of any Mauritian resort to date, and the crystal clear blue waters are a snorkeler's paradise.
Our first experience of a hotel in Mauritius. We had to quarantine here for 2 weeks and was not looking forward to being stuck in one room for that amount of time.
There were a few things that we were not happy with but these were quickly sorted out by the management Dani and Tony.
The food here is amazing with three meals per day with lots of choice. The staff are great at delivering the hot food to your location.
Our room was ground floor and close to the beach although we couldn’t go we could see the sea and hear the crashing waves so it was very calming...
The rooms could do with a minor update in some places but nothing that spoils your visit.
Would be nice to see the resort fully open and hopefully we can take a drive to Long Beach and see it for all its glory very soon.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and as my review is only based on a quarantine experience ….the real thing well ….it can only get better.
Outstanding service from the staff, the food was delicious a specail thanks to the chef😊. Despite the 14days isolate in my room it was like hell but need to goes along our protocol from our own good. Would like to thanks the full team of management for the excellence job you are doing, hat up 👍😁
We really had a nice time along with my family. The weather was good and we could enjoy the indian food along with bollywood music till sunday early morning. The foam party was really nice...
We enjoyed a lot with my hubby and nephew. Buffet breakfast was yummy as usual and the waiters really helped us out. Thanks to F&B Manager Vikram for always trying to make our stay a pleasure. Thanks also to the waitresses who attended us (they were 2 but i cannot remember their names). On sunday morning, we could enjoy the hammam, thanks to Spa Manager Reshma and Tahiri and all those at the Spa. Thanks also to Kristelle from Spa for coming to greet me even if i did not have any appointment with her on that day (she got me a pedicure some weeks back and my nails looked amazing). Thanks also to the GM for welcoming us at dinner time on saturday. We've never been disappointed with Long Beach hotel and hope to come soon again as soon as everything goes back to normal.
Highly recommend Chopstick restaurant with Chef Sunny who was very helpful in guiding us through the menu. We were lucky to have a delicious culinary and tasting experience. one of the best restaurants on the island.
