Holidays in Mauritius conjure up so many exotic images: the sun, the sea and the sand, of course, but also the sheer exoticism of the place. This is a holiday of a lifetime destination, and all it needs to make it absolutely perfect is the right hotel. The Lux Belle Mare is that hotel. With its picture perfect setting, luxurious amenities and impeccable suites, it is everything you've ever dreamed it would be. And so much more besides…
There are just so many reasons to choose the Lux Belle Mare Hotel. The setting is idyllic; it's located on the island's east coast in a quaint fishing village on the banks of the Indian Ocean. The accommodation is wonderful, with traditionally thatched roofs and classic, cool white furniture.
The complex is bordered by a perfect white beach and a lagoon that leads out to the wonderful warm waters of the ocean. There really aren't many more amazing holiday settings than this. The terraces of the junior suites at the Lux Belle Mare look out over the lagoon and gardens. Whether you look out and see the silvery moonlight reflecting in the still pool, or awake to the glimmering sheen of the sun-dappled water, this is heaven.
The facilities are exceptional too. All suites are air conditioned and come with satellite television, phone, minibar, safe, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, and Wi-Fi internet access. Plus, making sure that you get maximum benefit from every night's sleep, the beds have been specially selected for ultimate comfort. (Pool suites and beach suites are also available at a supplement.)
As you can already tell, everything about the Lux Belle Mare Hotel is designed for your maximum comfort and absolute enjoyment. And the fabulous hotel spa (with fitness centre) will certainly help to relax and revive you. Don't forget to check out the swimming pool too – it's one of the largest on the island. And we certainly recommend one of the Lux Belle Mare Hotel's fruity, low fat ice creams, available at the pool side.
Just as well it's low fat; with four restaurants, the Lux Belle Mare has an eclectic selection of restaurants to tempt you, with offerings of authentic island cuisine, Asian and Mediterranean dishes. There's a fine selection of bars too, including the laidback Piano Bar and the Café Lux – the organic island blend coffee is something special.
With its exotic sea life, exciting watersports, and miles of top-notch golf courses, this is the perfect place to unwind. And, as one of the island's foremost hotels, the Lux Belle Mare Hotel makes unwinding in Mauritius so relaxing, so rewarding and so very wonderful.

It was our first stay at LUX* Belle Mare. We went there to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary. We had an amazing room, decorated with flowers for our special day...
We also Had a little gift from the team, and it was a delicious cake. It was love at first sight for Mrs. I still remember, as soon as we reached we were warmly welcomed by all the staffs. They unloaded our luggages and I took the car to the parking. While parking I got a text messages from my wife who was in the lobby for complete the formalities saying : ‘ WOOOW, CANOOOON, I’m in Love’. (will upload a screenshot of the message along) .The moment I read this txt I knew our stay there would be magical.
A big thank you to Mrs Jennifer and Alina, made sure that we were having our best time. Making sure that everything were pefectly perfect. We cannot talk about LUX* BM, without pointing out their food. DAMMMN the food there exceed your expectation. On the first night we tried the international buffet, the roasted lamb was my favourite; perfectlly cooked, not chewy. The second night we tried Piano Rouge. We loved the decor and the mood. It was less crowded Pefect for a dinner date. We ordered the ‘Catch of the Day’ one among the best dish i ate. Mr Amit took great care of us.
During the Breakfast Mr Vick & Mr Oumesh always making sure that everything is going very well. They are the right person, at the right place at the perfect time! Talking about holidays, good food also mean lot’s of calorie intake! We had to burn some Calorie to be able to consume some more. We thus went for a gym session with Mr Brandon (Kuddos to him ) he know perfectly what he’s is doing. We loved our session there. What we also found fascinating is that the GM, Managers, Floor managers can be seen around the resort making sure their guest are having their best life. Always smiling. A big THANK YOU to the whole team there <3 We definitely will meet very very soon.
We just got home from lux Bellmare . We couldn't get enough of it . The food was absolutely a delight ...
The staff specially Roopesh ,Vishal, chef Subi , Ravin , Sylvio , Jennifer , Sheila and plenty more were bending over backwards to please us . Highly recommended hotel that goes for all the lux hotels in Mauritius.
We had a wonderful stay at Lux* Belle Mare. Despite of the bad weather, the warmth of the personnel was enough to make us feel better..special thanks to our butlers, Pravind and Sanju and also to the villa manager Suren. Special thanks to Kris and his team of Beach Rouge... For being a repeater of Lux* Experience, my only remark for Lux* Belle Mare would be on the variety of menu at the restaurant..a larger variety would have been appreciated...
But overall AMAZING experience as usual with Lux*.
We stayed at the hotel last weekend and unfortunately we didn’t get the best weather, it was raining from the beginning till the end of our stay, but this didn’t matter to us and it definitely didn’t matter to the staff. Everyone was very professional and cheerful at the same time. One of the highlights of our stay was the tour around the hotel with executive pastry chef Pascal...
The tour was very informative and extremely interesting. It was nice to see people working at the hotel with positive attitude and smile on their faces, not only at the front of the customers, but also behind closed doors. We’ve seen pastry kitchen, ice cream production, bakery, kitchen, wine cellar and more. Every step of the way, people were very passionate about their jobs and happy to explain interesting details about what is happening on the other site of the table. We will be definitely coming back.m to the hotel. Excellent food, location ambience and service.
