It's been a week that we stayed in Shangri-la Le Touessrok Mauritius and so far we must say that it's been our best Hotel experience ever.
From reservation until checked out, we only met professional people at this resort. Welcomed by Clarel from Front desk and who explained to us all the hotel facilities and room facilities.
We were so amazed to discover our wonderful room and with all the special attentions...and also with a turned down service. Thanks to Bharat, Medegee and Team
Our first evening, we had dinner at Kushi Restaurant...food was simply divine 🫶🏽 Thank you to Pravesh, Dario and Ronan who were here to help us for the different choices of the menus.
TSK the main restaurant is with a great variety....both for breakfast and dinner as well.
Breakfast buffet with it's unlimited sparkling wine, coffee and tea specialities, vienoiserie, Asiatic Corner, egg and bacon specialities, fruits, fresh pressed Juices... simply amazing 🤩 Special thanks here to Fardeen, Devika and Nicole.
Thank you to the evening buffet as well... unlimited gambas and grilled fish, great variety of roasted meats and their sauces...Rishie at the Asiatic corner with his special touch with noodles and dumplings....million thanks 🙏
We also went to the Spa and Virginie proposed to show us around which was very kind. Christophe was very professional as well and explained to us about some of the cures proposed at Shangri La...million thanks to you as well. Special thanks to Ramona who was very sweet and professional.
The hotel also have a professional kids Club with a wonderful program for the week...thank you to Brigitte, Amelie and other team members for their smile and kindness towards the children.
Sports Centre proposes a list of activities as well...and the team is simply here to motivate and accompany you... Rosario, Ricardo and Guillaume and the Sports centre Manager
The golf course is a must for those who are passionate about this sport. I would also suggest the private beach at Ile aux cerfs with it's panoramic view and the service provided by Nitish and team.

The pools are heated and the team serve you water and ice cream so you are always well hydrated. We don't forget our longtime professional lifeguard Mr Jhummun...a big thank to you.
Another long time and professional person in this wonderful place to be is its Duty Manager, Mr Nathaniel who we would see in every little corner, making sure that everything is properly well coordinated. Thank you loads for your professionalism 🙏🏽
We got the opportunity to be in different hotels but Shangri-la Le Touessrok Mauritius is a real must if you want to feel special throughout your whole stay

It’s our third visit in as many years and one of the very few places we have ever returned to . It’s a lovely place to visit with its situation on a sheltered lagoon with white sandy beaches . The rooms are airy and spacious and the room teams do an amazing job at keeping the room clean and tidy . We prefer 1/2 board as a light lunch is all we need and it gives us access not just to TSK buffet but also the 3 alternative restaurants, Indian , Japanese and Mediterranean . Never the less the very high prices charged for wine and drinks can easily run up a £ 4 figure extras bill over 10 days for just 2 people with very moderate drinking habits . Be warned! The food in all the venues is imaginative and generally very good . Having said that for the first time we had cause to comment about under cooked chicken skewers from the buffet and excessively fatty lamb chops from Cocos . Cocos responded by removing the supplement from the bill which was fair . Perhaps though there has been some slippage in general food quality at TSK evening buffet over the last 18 months ? On the positive side the breakfast buffet is always excellent. One minor criticism is that whilst we love the quiet and relaxed atmosphere we also love the live music nights ( 3 per week ) in the Segs bar . I’m sure there would be scope for live bands / singers to appear more frequentl?) . Every night would be excellent. Perhaps this could be considered and it would be good for local performers too . What really makes the Shangri La is the warmth and friendliness of all the staff and the excellent service throughout. I’m sure we will be back Also I must say a special thanks to Eric my sailing buddy this last week . Despite the language barrier .my lack of French and his lack of English we made that hobie cat fly .
It was a nice experience with welcoming staff. Everyone in the facility trying their best to make your stay memorable. Special thanks to Mr Prashad (F&B Manager), Mr Sada and Mrs Valeria.
Our stay at Shangri-La Mauritius was very enjoyable, and we truly appreciated the overall experience.
The food options were very good. Saffron and Coco’s were brilliant, while TSK was good. Nevertheless, the service across all three restaurants was exceptional, attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming.
A special mention goes to Ali, who made our arrival and stay particularly smooth. Check-in was fast and seamless, and he personally showed us around, arranged our restaurant reservations, and was always supportive in addressing our needs and concerns. His hospitality made a real difference.
We also thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the remote Île aux Cerfs. The ocean experience was beautiful and relaxing, and it was one of the highlights of our stay.
Our room overlooking the lagoon was another highlight. We enjoyed the view every moment and it added greatly to the overall experience.
One area we unfortunately couldn’t experience was CHI, The Spa, as there were no appointments available during our stay. We would have loved to try it, so hopefully next time.
Overall, we had a very good stay at Shangri-La Mauritius and enjoyed our time there. The beautiful location, excellent service, good dining options, and warm hospitality made it a memorable experience.
We chose Shangri-La Le Touessrok to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary, and we absolutely loved our stay! The hotel has a beautiful, lively atmosphere, with plenty of activities to enjoy. The nearby little islands added a special touch to our experience, making our anniversary getaway even more memorable. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel truly valued. Our only disappointment was the buffet, which is no longer as extensive or varied as it was during our visit six years ago. We would have loved to see the same impressive selection we remembered. Apart from that, everything was wonderful! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Shangri-La Le Touessrok and left with beautiful memories of our special celebration. Definitely a place we would love to return to! ❤️🌴✨
