Renovated in 2009, this charming beach hotel has a total of 215 guest rooms. The premises are air-conditioned and guests are welcomed in a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service. Facilities include a hotel safe, currency exchange, hairdressing salon and a games room. Younger guests can let off steam in the children's playground and kids' club. There is also a bar at the resort. Conference facilities are available to business travellers and all guests can take advantage of the WLAN Internet access provided. Furthermore, room and laundry services are on offer (fees apply). Those guests who are arriving by car may park their vehicle in the hotel's car park. Bicycles can be hired for a fee from the hotel.

Not 5 star
This a 5 star resort with a 2 star buffet restaurant. The food in the buffet restaurant is obviously prepared in bulk placed in either hot cast iron pots or in water baths left to stew and in most cases went cold. This is not how you run a 5 star buffet. Lazy cooking. Invariably the food was created with a mixture of other spices or concoctions. No attempt was to produce clean foods (meat or vegetables just cooked to order to a customers requirements.) We. Visited some of the other restaurants to find a similar experience. Only when we made a complaint did they make an effort to attempt to improve things but only marginally. Full of corporate speak we thank for your feed back etc. Booked a junior suite room very nice and clean good private pool. Let down by a view of broken down grave yard of deck chairs left between the pool and the vister. All the parasols were black mildew stained with rips in the canvas. As against the clean parasols in the main pool area. Why was I paying a premium for this. Once again my complaints were met by corporate speak never saw any actual action. During my stay never saw a senior Manager walk the site. To those in charge do not think this is the end of my complaints.
Enjoyed stay
Enjoyed stay for 2 nights. Deluxe plus rooms clean and spacious. Food very good. Front office (Antish) very helpful. The only problem was too many flies in the restaurants, especially during breakfast and lunch in buffet

Wonderful stay at Maritim Resort Balaclava
Second holiday there. The junior suite is clean and spacious. Absolutely love the place. Staff members are amazing. Many thanks to Mr Manoj Mungur who attended to all our concerns and made our stay memorable. Will definitely come back again. Highly recommend this beautiful hotel.
Lovely 2 week stay
We have just returned from a 2 week holiday. It was a lovely stay, beaches were clean pool was clean. Staff was lovely. Room was lovely with all your amenities that you need. Restaurants were also good. They have a lot to offer. The only thing that I would say was a little annoying was that the cocktails were not consistent, and also the beer. You would order a cocktail in the evening which would be great, order it the next day and it would be completely different. Beer was also a hit and miss, weissbeer was on the menu but didn't have it on quater deck-did have it at anno, which we then had to pay for. When you asked for a larger at the quater deck bar at lunch time depending who served you would would either get an IPA which my husband loves but I am not much of a fan or phoenix. My husband would then ask for an IPA the next time and then they would say they don't have it any more 🤷♀️ very hit and miss. In a 5 star resort drinks need to be consistent, a little time for cocktail training is advised 😄.
