Trou aux Biches

This charming hotel is located in a quiet location within its own grounds and is just a few minutes away from the lively area of Grand Baie as well as the Trou aux Biches beach. Make your stay in Mauritius a memorable one with exceptional hospitality and beautiful grounds.

Friendly service, relaxing facilities and easy access to one of Mauritius' finest beaches:

Le Palmiste Resort and Spa is beautifully set in its own grounds. Dominated by its large pool and its swaying palms, life is wonderfully laid back here. And yet the huge beach at Trou aux Biches is so close at hand; it's one of the islands finest and a real hub of activity in this part of Mauritius. While the beach at Trou aux Biches is rightly regarded for its bathing and watersports, you don't have to leave the grounds to enjoy a choice of three exceptional pools at Le Palmiste Hotel. You can splash away to your heart's content or luxuriate in the shade of the palms - you're on holiday and you deserve to enjoy yourself however you like.

The wonderful feeling of relaxation you get when staying at Le Palmiste Resort and Spa definitely extends to the bedrooms. The twin and double rooms are light, airy and very comfortable. And with the late sunlight filtering through from the balcony or terrace, they take on a very atmospheric quality as the sky reddens each evening.

Rooms are all well equipped with satellite TV, telephone, safe and drinks making facilities. Another exciting addition to the list of facilities at Le Palmiste Resort is the spa specialising in Japanese treatment, including Shiatsu and Reiki in addition to massage treatments. We told you it was relaxing here!

Dining at Le Palmiste is always a treat, and with our all-inclusive deal, all your meals are covered, in addition to local beers, spirits and soft drinks.

Holiday hotels really should make you feel right at home very quickly, and Le Palmiste Hotel does that. It's a wonderfully relaxing place to stay in a wonderful part of Mauritius.

Great vacation

The entire staff was always pleasant and ready to help, The place is good, a few minutes to a beach, close is a grocery store, pharmacy, car rental points. We got more than we expected great value for money. I recommend this stay to those looking for a quiet holiday in Mauritius:))

I won't recommend.

Review by 243Stephanie Moka, Mauritius

Not recommended. Subpar service compared to other hotels in the same price range. Tea time not included in the all-inclusive package. I was not aware that pancakes were not part of the package and had to pay Rs440 for them. Small beds. When I requested bedsheets to use the couch as a bed, I was rudely addressed by a male receptionist. Lack of parking facilities. NO sea activities. Land activities are very limited. Food was plain - they mostly used frozen vegetables, and other cheap ingredients...

Nothing sophisticated. I loved the fruit juices and the cocktails though. I addressed my concerns to Mr Ajay who listened carefully, but other than listening he did not do much to appease the feeling of dissatisfaction. No commercial gesture whatsoever. Only thing I appreciated is that they did not make a fuss when we left the room a little bit after the checkout time.

Resort was good as were staff but sadly not Front Desk all were!! Menu not at all great same same almost with no variations especially if you’re Indian Asian. Didn’t have Mauritius food at the Resort & Independence Day especially no special food. Couldn’t see other facilities at all. The tables weren’t set up as shown etc we 4 wouldn’t recommend it but in good area.

Cherished moments at Le Palmiste hotel & Spa

Nooree from Mauritius here...We went on 5 feb 2023 , a Saturday with family especially for the birthday of my hubby.. This hotel is really a best place to seek for relaxation, cozy moments and definitely enjoyed its exquisite leisure and cuisine ! Great hospitality, good communication, very friendly and good manners staff ! Thanks a lot Mr Manager, Mr Armand the Advisor, who keeps meeting our needs whenever we asked for. Very convenient and recommendable ! Neat, tidy rooms, and eye catching swimming pools...

Will surely visit again ! Thanks again and keep the good work ! 👏

Avoid… please!

Really rude and arrogant management. On an island where customer service is generally excellent, why go somewhere with a rude and arrogant manager. Avoid like the plague; I have never come across such rude, inflexible and unhelpful management in my entire life.
