Le Duc de Praslin Hotel & Villas has expanded its facilities with a new reception / lounge area.Moreover, a new privacy wall has been completed around the four honeymoon suites.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Hotel is clean, beautiful, and sits right on a great beach. The rooms are big and modern. The pools are well-kept, and the Staffs are very friendly. Special mention Indian Chef Dharani She makes amazing, tasty Indian food. If you are vegetarian she will cook special meals for you. The taste Just Amazing and felt Like Home. She is incredibly kind.

My partner and I chose Le Duc de Praslin for our honeymoon, expecting the 5-star luxury experience and warm hospitality advertised for a resort charging around $900 a night. Unfortunately, our experience has been deeply disappointing and completely fell short of luxury standards. The service attitude from the front desk staff is far from welcoming or warm. The most frustrating moment occurred over basic hydration: after arriving to find only two small bottles of water in our room in the tropical heat, we asked front desk for additional water. Instead of accommodating us, the employee interrogated us, asking, "Did you not get bottled water yesterday?" Having to argue with staff over basic drinking water at a premium resort is unacceptable. Luxury is defined by seamless service and guest care, not nickeling-and-diming guests over basic amenities or making them feel interrogated. This ruined what was supposed to be a special honeymoon experience. Based on the cold service and lack of basic hospitality, this feels like a 3-star property at best. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone expecting true luxury or genuine Seychellois warmth.
We had an amazing stay at Le Duc De Praslin, a fantastic resort in a fantastic location right on the white beaches of Praslin.
The ocean rooms and facilities were excellent. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home by the friendly staff. A special call out to all the service team in the restaurant who went to great lengths to ensure my wife's gluten free dietary requirements were accommodated. In particular Colvine and Keisha in the kitchen and Ina on the restaurant floor.
Robert, the owner, spent time with all of the guests to ensure our needs and expectations were being met, and outlined the future plans for the resort which are indeed exciting.
We would thoroughly recommend Le Duc De Praslin to anyone visiting the Seychelles and Praslin in particular.
We stay for 3 days in Le Duc De praslin. the Room was Very Comfortable and Well Cleaned. Breakfast and Dinner was very Delicious and have Many varieties, Especially indian Dish We Didnt Expect that we can Have a Indian Food And Morever in Veg Options Thanks For Chef Dharani That Prepare Good Food Until Our Last day, Even in the Early Morning 6.30 She prepare and Give For Us, we Thankfull For her so much. Must reccomonded For All Indians And Vegetariens. Entier Team Was Very Professional Thanks For All!!!!!
