A beautiful hotel with wonderful service
We had a lovely stay at The Kingsbury in Colombo and were very impressed from the moment we arrived.
The hotel itself is beautiful, with a wonderful atmosphere and a real sense of luxury. Our room was lovely, and genuinely had the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in!
What really stood out, though, was the friendliness of the staff. Everyone we encountered was welcoming, helpful and genuinely keen to make our stay enjoyable. Nothing seemed too much trouble, and the service throughout our stay was excellent.
The food was also fantastic, with plenty of choice and everything we tried was really lovely.
Overall, The Kingsbury was a wonderful place to stay and a great introduction to Sri Lanka. The combination of a beautiful hotel, delicious food and such friendly and attentive staff made our stay very memorable.
We would happily stay here again and would definitely recommend The Kingsbury to anyone visiting Colombo.
We went for the Saturday lunch buffet and the food was good. They had a good variety too. Services rendered by Vinoth was good - he was pleasant and professional.
It was absolutely amazing. Nice ambience. We tried the tasting Menu and it was really good. The music however seems to be on loop. But overall 10/10.
