Comfortable stay in a conveniently located hotel in Colombo
Two of us stayed two nights for multiple engagements. As the hotel is in the heart of Colombo, we were able to finish all our work from shopping to attending functions. Staff is quite helpful and friendly. We stayed there on B&B. The breakfast included Sri Lankan, and international food, fruits, tea and coffee. Rooms were colonial type, quite spacious and clean. Reminded me of Agatha Christie's descriptions of hotels in her novels. I strongly recommend this hotel for someone who wants to stay comfortably in Colombo for business or work related visit.
Big rooms
Really big rooms we had 2 rooms. City centre facing. Rooms very clean we walked from Colombo fort railway station to hotel only about 15 minutes walk with large suitcases. Hotel right opposite Burger king if thats your thing. KFC round the corner. Nice bar restaurant opposite. Sufficient breakfast
Excellent stay
Excellent service and most friendly staff with extremely positive attitude. Very helpful indeed in every which way. I would particularly like to mention Saman (doorman who welcomed us with big smile ) and Mr Srimal for all his assistance during our stay. He’s a star.
The room was amazing, everything was so nice. From the first time we checked in until checked out, all the staffs were so helpful.

Great location
All the good restaurants are walking distance! Comfortable stay with good clean rooms and bathrooms! Ministry of Crab is just a minute away from this hotel! They also have a bar on the ground floor with great live music on the weekends!
Pleasant stay
Close to the Dutch hospital, other hotels, and Galle face (walking distance). The rooms were large and the beds comfortable. The washroom was clean and spacious. Great place to stay if you have an early train to catch with plenty of options to get to the train station. The staff were friendly and helpful.
