Turyaa Kalutara has recently been refurbished, formerly the Sands Kalutara, it is a contemporary hotel with a fabulous seaview. About 24 miles south of Colombo, it is secluded in a dense grove of palm trees overlooking a long sandy beach. The facilities include a large lagoon style swimming pool surrounded by lawns that run down to the beachfront.
I visited Turyaa kaluthara with my family for 2 days and was happy and completely satisfied with the service and hospitality. This was our 1st trip after the lock downs and found the same level of heartfelt service before the pandemic started. The food was amazing and the buffet spread had alot of variety "Hats off to the chef". Everything was great but the lunch seemed a little over crowded. Overall the experience was top notch.Thank you Turyaa
The first time i visited this place it was superb, i also made a review with 5 stars, So visited this place second time with family but was not as expected. As We entered inside the gates and waited for our other vehicle to reach. After they reached...
One of the security officer refused us to enter to make a reservation. We told him we already made a call and spoke. He told all the rooms are booked and asked us to leave the premises without letting us to talk to someone in the reservation. Never experienced in a hotel like this. The first time i visited in 2015 we made the reservation at 6pm Food was okay but choice is less, pool is great and rooms are good as well.
Thank you Turyaa for the amazing hospitality.. The food was simply great. Thank you chef prageeth for the care and attention showed towards us...
Would deffeneitly recommend Turyaa for a perfect vacation. And not to mention the Covid guidelines were also visibly practised among all front of the house and kitchen staff which made us enjoy the holiday even more.
