Everything was amazing. People were very nice, food delisioush and see really beatifull. Location was very pretty with sea view and palm. The hotel rooms were clean and also beatifull and really comfortable.
Lovely hotel
We only stayed one night here, but thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was comfortable as was the bed. And the food for both breakfast and dinner was excellent.
The staff were also lovely, but it was disappointing to see the GM strutting around shmoozing up to some who must have been regulars or VIPs, but ignoring others.
That said, was definitely not a deal breaker.
Nice beach resort for a couple or a family vacation in Negombo
We wanted to visit a coastal area and the Goldi Sands location is ideal for us, so we spent our vacation there. We travel as a family of 3 adults and 2 kids (3.5 y and 6 m). Their spacious duplex suite was the home for us during our stay which was ideal for an extended family like us.
During our stay, it was memorable and pleasing. The hotel staff was trying to make our stay wonderful. The food was delicious and loved it. The restaurant staff was very friendly and willing to help at any time. They have prepared complementary unsalted baby foods for the 6-month-old baby at our request which we will really thank full. Restaurant Staff Lakmini and Namal who helped us a lot with baby foods were really caring. Some other restaurant staff like Sanduni, Susira and a lady chef (actually I forgot to ask her name) interact with us with much hospitality. I might speak only a few names here but I think the service we had was a team effort of all staff. So I would like to thank every one of them from the front desk to the room service, and if some responsible management person reads this please give my kind regards and also appreciation to them
The day I visited was a bit busy day so the welcome we got from the parking lot to the front desk was not good, but Mithila who was very responsible at the front desk, took care of it at did the need full.
In summary, the stay was really good and we enjoyed the stay really well. Goldi Sand is a very nice hotel if you are visiting Negombo
