General view

Gaurang was very hospitable and extremely kind at the breakfast place. And so was Anjali.  John delivered our food to the room in spite of the rain. Chandresh or Chandran helped with the housekeeping and were very efficient along with another partner whose name started with U ( Udghesh?). Mayur stopped to help in the midst of everything. Travel desk Minu and Yanur were very responsive and helpful. Biju helped with the cat. Cesar was our person at the reception. On the way out, Ninotschka offered lemonade to my parents and her kindness and gracious hospitality won them over. These people helped make our stay very welcome and pleasant. The property itself was well maintained and very relaxing.

The property is extremely spacious and serene nestled in the lap of nature.
Beautiful surroundings, meadows, sea and tastefully curated experience of Taj.
A must visit for all who want a perfect getaway from the daily chores.
Must compliment the Taj Team (Ms Sheetal Singh, Ninotschka, Chef Ganesh and the entire team) for their hospitality and their customer centric approach that stands out and makes the experience memorable

Surreal Experience @Taj Exotica Goa

Very good experience. I went for my wife bday and they had really done well decorations and arrangements. I will recommend to visit this property during monsoon, as it provides a green lush views along with rain. Hotel staff were too supportive.

Luxury, Chill and Best Experience

Checked in for a night to experience one of the best of Taj and Goa. Had lots of expectations. Sharing the good and bad below. 
Good first – 
•	The property is beautiful and vast.
•	A few steps to the beach.
•	The location is very good and close to Benaulim Beach.
•	Mr. Sovan at the porch is very helpful and pleasant to interact with. (the only person who actually makes an attempt to help/assist guests). 
•	The bar manager is another amazing guy to talk to.
•	The spa is very good and therapists Apeni and Pui are good at their job.
•	The dinner buffet and breakfast buffet has good options. The taste of the food is good.
•	Urli's setup outside the room was a nice gesture.

The Bad – 

•	Mail sent by resort before check-in as a way to connect with guests prior to arrival. Isn't this too old school method?? In today's world when you prefer to call or connect via WhatsApp why mail?? All other similar category hotels connect over call or WhatsApp message. 
•	No welcome drink was served and no one asked for even a glass of water upon arrival.
•	Assisted by Mr. Ayaan upon arrival. He mentioned that the room would be ready in 30 minutes but made us wait for about good 90 minutes for the room. (Reached at 1230 and got room at 1410.). Had informed about early arrival already. No one bothered to ask for refreshments while we were waiting.
•	Warmth and the luxury feel are completely missing in people in the lobby.
•	Everyone at the front office makes you feel like it is a typical city business hotel rather than a luxury resort. No emphasis on personalization and making genuine connections with guests.
•	No one escorted to the room or explained about the resort. No brief was given about the activities or facilities of the resort.
•	No one gave room orientation.
•	The bell desk/cart operator went along with us to the room but no one from the front desk or guest relations team.
•	Information about the birthday celebration was shared prior to arrival but no one bothered to wish at the front desk. Actually no one wished in any area. I have traveled to other hotels/resorts as well to celebrate my birthday or birthday of my friends and everyone in the hotel is aware of your special occasion. They celebrate your birthday in the restaurant and at times in the lobby and plan surprises for you.
•	An envelope was handed over along with the room key and I opened it later in the evening. It had a generic(addressed as a dear guest and not even with name) welcome letter (folded) in it and a list of paid/unpaid activities along with the weekly schedule. One expects more personal connections in such high-end luxury resorts. I’m not traveling to Goa to read letters, it would be nice if someone explains.
•	Although, the room was given after about 90 mins. but still room had no amenities. Light balloon décor was there but no birthday message or note. Just a few balloons.
•	Amenities came after some time of check-in. A 4 star hotel has better amenities than Taj Exotica(I have an image). The fruit basket felt like it was just given to tick the box of amenity placement in room.  Actually that was the only amenity and a pastry as a birthday amenity(covered with a completely worn out plastic cloche).
•	The bathroom had no loofah, no bath salt in bathtub tray and no bubble bath bottle(miniature).
•	After check-in we noticed that there was some water on floor. We clicked a picture and showed image of it to Mr. Ayaan at front desk and he asked us to share video of same with him. I mean if you do not trust us then you should getup from your seat and check the room yourself, why are you assigning a task to a guest?? We also informed him that the basic amenities such as showergel, bath tub set-up were missing and to our surprise he questioned back with – Are you sure they are not there??
•	We requested for complete bathtub setup and he gave an impression like he was doing a favour to us.
•	Upon departure, we approached Mr. AYAAN at front desk to assist us with billing. We were asked by a lady who was standing alongside him in business attire to proceed to next desk.
•	A lady at the next desk (Ms. Lee) helped us with billing and clarified all our queries.
•	During the entire checkout process, Ms. Lee OR no-one tried to make an attempt to check on stay feedback or any kind of interaction. Everyone around seemed busy in their own world. 
•	We requested for a carry bag upon departure from Ms. Lee but never received it. 
All in all, it was a disappointing experience and very unlike Taj. A lot of room for training people and lot of process alignment is required. People need to be more warm and friendly. Please do not run it like a CITY BUSINESS hotel. I had lots of expectations from THE Taj Exotica and was super excited for this stay but Tajness was missing and a birthday was ruined as well.
3 stars for Mr. Shovan, Spa team and the property.

Very unlike Taj. Warmth and luxury feel missing.

The rooms are lovely, views are great, even though it was raining, we had a wonderful stay. The staff is truly amazing. Respectful, courteous. Property is large and there are so many fun activities offered. The check in and check out experience is smooth.

Beautiful experience

Spread across 56 acres of landscaped grounds Taj Exotica Resort and Spa sits along the Benaulim beach.Located at a distance of 11 kms from the closest city of Margao.A tropical paradise set in 56 acres of landscaped gardens and on one of the most unspoilt beaches of South Goa-Benaulim. Taj Exotica Resort and Spa Goa is 27 kms or a 45 mins drive from Goa Dabolim airport. The sprawling resort complex is divided into the main hotel building and charming villas- either 2 or 4 room units which dot the landscape- some featuring their own personal plunge pools. The resort offers views of  tropical gardens and a golf-course along with a captivating expanse of the Arabian sea. It is set at a distance of 8 km from the commercial capital of Goa- Margao as well as from the Madgoan railway station.
A 1hr 15 mins drive approx would take you to the beaches of North Goa.
