Conveniently located and in general a nice hotel
The hotel is ideally situated on the main road, within reach of all local amenities. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Just a couple of mark downs and they are the room looked slightly tired and the pool needed some maintenance (missing tiles) but very tranquil in the garden
Best budgetary hotel in Goa
We are senior citizen of 75 + and visited all over India and a regular foreign travellers. We stayed in goodwin hotel two times during the month of December from 9 - 12 & 13 - 16 . During our first day the hotel room was not up to the mark and very sticky room no. 114 and we requested the hotel management to provide us a best room during our next trip and accordingly they provided as one of the good room on same floor. The room is sufficient precious and room items are neat and clean but the bathroom floor is not properly clean though the toilet and others are properly neat and clean. I hope management should note for cleaning the bathroom floor positivity as per international standard. They provide bathroom toiletries sufficiently.The food of the hotels is super but limited both veg & non veg but the taste of the foid is fabulous. The hotel is in the heart of the city and lot of shops arounding the hotels. The hotel staff are very polite and helpful nature. I must say thanks to one madam Sanjukta and mr ghosh.

Overpriced
The reception area was very nice and welcoming. I paid by Halifax clarity card and lawfully they have to ask me if I want to pay in local currency or sterling which they didn’t. I was given a receipt saying I had agreed to pay a 5% additional fee and accept their currency charges. I argued about this for most of the 10 days I stayed there. The female manager was aggressive and told me it would get sorted out, but it never was, and spoilt our stay. Do not pay by credit card here. Many did and had to pay these extra charges, Complete rip-off. The bedroom was very nice. Cleaners were excellent and toiletries were of a good standard. The bed was very comfy. The room was at the front of the hotel so you could witness the chaos that was Candolim and the frequent accidents on a very busy road. We enjoyed this though others may want a quieter balcony. Wifi was very good and I could watch TV from home through my computer on the large TV with scarts. The breakfast was fantastic if you like curry-associated dishes. For me, it was egg and toast. Lots of lovely chocolate cakes and on one occasion an amazing chocolate milkshake made breakfast pretty unusual. The garden featuring a big pool was filled with an abundance of lovely flowers and trees and was a sea of tranquillity when compared to the front of the hotel. Until the locals took over the pool, which they did for an hour most days. At best 20 odd people jumped into the pool with their clothes on, at worst they brought loud music speakers and drinks holding unofficial parties. After they left, there was a return to peace and harmony. The pool was great, though it suffered from tree debris in the pool. There was no wifi at the pool. Only one bed wasn't broken, and the pool boy often recycled towels that had been used by other guests. Don't accept a towel if it's damp. Overall, this was a mixed experience that I probably won't repeat.

Great Holidaying with GODWIN GOA
One of Goa's very good property, with Great location ,Amazing food which you always look for when you are holidaying with your loved 😍 ones and very Courteous Staff right from Front office to room service & house keeping.
