Absolutely unbelievable today Wednesday 1st April , hotel closes the only pool so the hotel manager can have it for himself !! 42° and no pool facility , complained but staff weren't interested, told its a private event , everyone in the hotel paid good money to come here and have the facilities available especially the pool . Very bad attitude, were never informed. Will not come back here , don't recommend this hotel
We stayed at Ocean Palms from January to March. What was meant to be a simple 3‑week holiday turned into a much longer stay due to the Middle East crisis, and we are genuinely grateful that we ended up here. We were a party of four in two rooms, and throughout the entire stay we felt looked after, supported, and truly cared for.
We stayed in several different rooms during our extensions, and every single one was excellent — spacious, spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. High ceilings, plenty of light, and a real sense of calm. Housekeeping were outstanding every single day and deserve huge appreciation for their consistency and attention to detail.
The staff at Ocean Palms are what truly make this hotel special. Every member of the team went above and beyond to help us during a stressful and uncertain time. The reception staff were incredibly efficient, friendly, and professional.
A very special and heartfelt thank you to Baiju Vargheese. I contacted him through WhatsApp for every extension and room change, and he handled everything immediately, kindly, and with complete professionalism. He made a difficult situation so much easier for us, and we are extremely grateful for his support.
Breakfast could be improved for Western guests — long waits and a lack of organisation, especially when waiting over 30 minutes for eggs. Terra Restaurant is lovely, clean, and well maintained. Some service can be slow at times, possibly due to language barriers, but the staff work extremely hard and deserve recognition.
Overall, our extended stay at Ocean Palms turned into a positive and memorable experience thanks to the wonderful staff, excellent rooms, and the care we received throughout. We are genuinely thankful for everything and would 100% stay again.
Close to the beach close to shops very good location
Lovely hotel hiding behind the shops and restaurants. The staff have been really helpful and eager to help. The food at Terra restaurant was really tasty and as I have a cheese allergy they cooked anything I wanted off the menu (without the cheese).
Not the easiest place to find but once there considered it to be clean and modern. Live music was on and we where seated at a table adjacent to the dance floor. The music was very loud and it was difficult to hold a conversation. Both my wife and I ordered half a roast chicken with creamy mashed potatoes with veg. We eagerly awaited our food only to be presented by two very small chicken legs each, a very small amount of mashed potatoes and a sample of vegetables. The largest item on the plate was a foul tasting gravey. We where hungry and ate it but explained both to the waitress and the lady at the lecturn that we where very disappointed. We got very little reaction from them but I advised them that I intended to make a trio advisor report the following day! The food was expensive by Indian standards, when did two small chicken legs constitute half a chicken? We expected better from a restaurant and hotel with the ratings it had received. I commented to a couple who had just walked in to look for some where else to eat. The music was load with children running up and down the dance floor. We left and found some snacks on our way back to our hotel.

Disappointing experience – car rental vendor recommended by Ocean Palm Resort, Goa
We were two girls visiting Goa for the first time to attend an art festival. We stayed at Ocean Palm Resort, Goa, and trusted the hotel to recommend a reliable car rental vendor. Unfortunately, this trust was completely misplaced.
The resort connected us with a car rental vendor (Rajan and Sultan) who provided us with a very old and poorly maintained Swift Dzire, charging a high price that was not justified at all. Being new to the place, we felt taken advantage of.
The vendor promised to replace the car with a Baleno the next day, but this promise was never kept. Instead, we were told that no other car was available and that we should continue with the same vehicle. As first-time visitors, we had no option but to agree.
The most disturbing part happened at the time of returning the car. The vendor falsely accused us of damaging the car and forcefully demanded extra money, even though we were getting late for our flight. This caused a lot of stress and anxiety.
What was even more disappointing was the lack of responsibility from Ocean Palm Resort. Since the vendor was arranged through the hotel, we expected some support or intervention, but the resort did not take any accountability. By recommending such vendors, the resort indirectly allows its guests to be misled and harassed.
Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience. The service was unprofessional, overpriced, and unsafe, especially for women travelers. I would advise future guests to not rely on the resort for car rental arrangements and to verify vendors independently.
