Staycation and Food beyond our expectations.. truly Taj!
Best staycation in Goa
Our staycation 2N 3D was way beyond our expectations, and we truly feel so refreshed and happy. I'll choose Taj Fort Aguada again n again everytime I visit Goa.
Location - Prime location straight on the end of the road. Taj Fort Aguada Resort is one of a kind stays in Goa. We came to celebrate 4th anniversary, I had requested for upgrade. Mr.Hillary was so so kind, he upgraded us to Hermitage Villa. This stay has become one of our favourite staycations so far. A lovely 1BHK Villa #506.
Villa - Super clean, lovely sit out, huge bathtub, amazing turndown service. We were welcomed with a huge fruit and coconut platter.
Food - INSANE and Best experience by Chef Mr. Priyaranjan. He curated a variety of Jain food options for me on demand. Hummus, Sabji , Dal Tadka, Parathas, Multiple Breakfast options, and he truly went way beyond our expectations to serve us with a huge beautiful smile. I would come back for the food and hospitality and the way my Jain food requests were taken care of. Restaurant team even got me Ccf tea kaada twice because I was feeling soar throat.
Pool and Lobby - Mr Sekhavat, the Pool Manager, he was so kind to take our lovely pics.
Hermitage Lounge - Well arranged Evening Hi tea, thank you Mayank for taking care of my Jain food preferences and getting those arranged even when we reached late.
Miss Valushka patiently took lovely pictures of us before Checkout.
Sunset spots - The cliff had amazing sit outs to chill and watch sunset. And my favourite has to be the Caravella sea side high chair spot. Just magical.
Beach connectivity - Hotel is connected to beach and beach area is very well maintained.
Thank you to the buggy drivers, they took us around giving lovely tour.
You can explore both Taj Fort Aguada and Taj Holiday Village , they have on demand shuttle service. You can use all the amenities including buffet breakfast at both the places.
However, 100% recommend staying at Fort Aguada and experiencing the food here.
We feel so refreshed.

Luxury trip
Good experience (could have been great) -
- Booking was hassle free! Stay started on a good note - we got the suite we booked
- Rooms - Because of the season there was insect (flying ant) infestation in the suite and we had to be moved to another room. But, were well compensated by the management (thanks to Debarati ma’am for her intervention). We eventually got to stay in the suite (different room) for 1 night and we loved it!
- Front desk - service certainly needs to improve, check-in and checkout were well managed. But, issues like multiple calls from mobile going unanswered and room issue resolution taking very longer and repeated calls (in our case, more than an hour) from the intercom and frequent shift or personal change/unavailability didn’t help the cause (had to repeat the story - explain the issue over and over again)
- Restaurants - We tried 2 of their 3 in house restaurants and both were good. Good food and prompt service.
- Location - great!
- Shuttle and Transport - is good with reasonable pricing for both airport transfers and local sightseeing
- Access to the beach and the Agauda fort - quick and easy.
Overall - Good value for money! Slight changes to operations will improve the overall experience for the customer.

Luxurious Stay with Outstanding Hospitality
An exceptional luxury stay with breathtaking sea views. Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa offers beautiful surroundings, excellent hospitality, and world-class service. The rooms are elegant and comfortable, the property is well-maintained, and the overall ambiance is relaxing. The food was excellent, and the staff ensured a memorable experience. Overall a lovely stay and memorable holiday at Taj Fort Aguada
We had a lovely stay at Taj Forth Aguada Goa in June 1st week. It’s a massive property and very old and hence don’t expect a new age, modern vibe. But the expanse, location, sea / bay views and majestic natural beauty and lush greenery more than makes up. The Hermitage villas are large size and done up lavishly. We got an upgrade thanks to Debarati Chakraborti who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and even had beautiful surprise for our kids. Watch out for over crowding and chaos at the buffet restaurant and main pool which can be a dampener. Italian Restaurant and Room service was much better in comparison to Kokum Kitchen. We chose to go for the Pool and Restaurant at the Lounge area (feature with Villas) which was more exclusive and peaceful albeit with lesser menu. Roshan and rest of the staff at the lounge stood out for their service. All in all a great stay made especially memorable by Debarati who was Tajness personified. Would highly recommend going for this property for a family holiday.
