Great stay at Kochi!!
We enjoyed a luxurious 2 night stay at Taj Malabar, Kochi. The property is beautiful with an amazing sea view. The welcome experience and traditional dance was special. Probably one of India’s best welcome experience. Mr Safvan assisted us with the check in and it was really smooth. We stayed at the heritage sea view category of room. The rooms have all been recently renovated. The room is tastefully done with all amenities. The heritage wing rooms had a damp/ musty odour which needs to be addressed. The service at the hotel was amazing showcasing the true Taj spirit. Food at the restaurant ‘Pepper’ was great with Mr Alex, Mr Ajith, Mr Surya ensuring we had a great time during our meals. The high tea and the sunset cruise which is a chargeable activity is a must do. Ms Elizabeth George who is the guest relations manager at the property accompanied us during the cruise and truly made it memorable with the history and important landmarks. Mr Prasad the flautist made the cruise enjoyable with his live performance. The property gives you the quiet luxury feel which truly sets it apart. We really enjoyed our stay and it’s the best hotel in Kochi!!

The Most Rejuvenating & Relaxing Weekend Getaway
Our experience at Taj Malabar Resort & Spa Kochi was above and beyond our expectations.The location and view from our rooms was breathtaking. Right from the welcome with a traditional dance performance to the prompt check in by Mr Kanwaljeet & Mr Akhinesh to the food ,hospitality and service .. everything was par excellence.As always Taj hotels as also this particular one went out of the way to make our stay very comfortable and made my milestone birthday very special and memorable.A special mention of some staff who made it extra special were Mr Suriya at the Pepper restaurant who was courteous, soft spoken and ensured that every meal and all our requests were met and Mr Ahilan ,Manager of Rice Boat Seafood Restaurant who recommended excellent coastal dishes and was extremely jovial and hospitable and also Ms Elizabeth the Guest Relations Manager at the front desk with whom I had been communicating before our arrival and who ensured that all our requests were met. Loved the stay and looking forward to visiting this property again.
Special memories for life made at Taj Malabar
A clear stand out property!! Nothing can beat the location, the history of the property. As always Taj excels in its hospitality and food. Loved the seafood at RiceBoat restaurant. Do try their Taster option. The bar also serves some amazing cocktails. Having a late night drink or early morning coffee next to the waterfront is a memorable experience. Big shoutout to Ahilan from RiceBoat restaurant. Thorough gentleman and played such an amazing host.

Awesome Rice Boat experience
Visited the Rice Boat restaurant with the family today. Was a great experience. It’s a seafood restaurant and cuisine is authentic Kerala style with a twist. Loved the ambience and decor. Great views of the Backwaters and the adjoining shoreline. Ahilan and the staff were amazing. Helped us from the beginning to end to ensure we tasted the best stuff available on the menu and made us feel extremely welcome. The food, of course was fantastic. All the seafood was fresh and extremely delicious. Would go back in a heartbeat!
